    1. Jordan berry will go down, but not quietly
    2. Haskins is our #2 QB
    3. Chuks starting position is far from secure
    4. Ray Ray's spot is up for grabs (no pun intended)
    5. Still worried about our ilbers in pass coverage
    6. Mcfarland needs to be a little more patient, and stop outrunning his blocking

Jordan Berry will likely get a job with another team when he's cut. Berry is a good punter, but PH3 can be great.

I got the sarcasm but also the attempted joke creation based off it too. We can execute better though but not to paint us all with a broad brush

i'm worried about the entire secondary except for Haden and Minkah. I'm not confident in Sutton, never saw him do anything to warrant the confidence by other fans in him. I see him getting picked on a lot on the outside this season. Those Browns and Bengals WRS could have career days facing him. the front 7 should be freaking good tho.

    Attempted?

Balderdash, I already have a bunch of hilarious ratings

    :smiley1:

Note, I would have one more hilarious rating if I could figure out how to rate my own post.

    7. OL needs a lot of reps and work. The way Green got bullrushed and absolutely man handled was bad.
    8. The O had 1's out there a lot in 1st half minus Ben and they looked pathetic.
    9. Rudolph is a freaking joke that in no way, shape, or fashion is even remotely funny.

Listening to Tomlin last night before the game, he said something that makes me think Berry will stay and Harvin will go.

Labs was asking him about punter duties and Tomlin said the punter also needs to be the holder. The guy who can handle that better is going to have a "leg up" on the other. (See what I did there?)

Tomlin doesn't want holding duties "handled" by a QB. (I'm on a roll with this).

I'm no expert, but there's somethng about Harvin that tells me he isn't going to be the best in that roll. And it would make sense for Tomlin to pick the best punter based on, well, not punting.

I still like Jamir Jones. We need to find a spot for him on the roster.

6-11 with PH3. Who knows what we'd end up without him? 4-12? Sorry, sorry, 4-13.

Didn't see the game....what was wrong with Ray Ray, or were the other WRs just showing out?

If anything, why not offer Berry as trade bait? One never knows with the inconsistency of Punters in the NFL these days. Besides, Pittsburgh does not have a 4th, 5th or 6th rounder due in part to the Avery Williamson, Isaiah Loudermilk and now Joe Schobert trades. Should Berry even fetch a 6th, that is a major win.

Highly doubtful but again, one never knows.

Points 2 and 3 I concur; doubly so on 3. It did not surprise me that Dan Moore Jr would pick up relatively quickly upon entering the NFL with the likes of Adrian Klemm with the Training of Duke Manyweather (goes by the name of BigDuke on Twitter). That said, even with the likes of Alex Highsmith and Melvin Ingarm constantly humbling the young Rookie... I did not expect Dan Moore Jr. to accelerate his development so rapidly. Athletically speaking, he has all the tools. That said however, he still will need some time to develop... however I can imagine that development is better served in actual reps as there is no better teacher than that. He actually has been improving in Pass Protection but my most notable note of him has been his ability to finish plays; something he did not always do at Texas A&M.

Chuks did have some good reps actually against Philly... but boy oh boy did Josh Sweat make him look silly. Not a good look for him; doubly so since the likes of Myles Garrett, Sam Hubbard (he did more than enough damage abusing him in their second matchup), Joey Bosa and Khalil Mack are all awaiting him. However, what is most concerning for Chuks is the overall lack of aggression... rather from the start. It took him quite a bit to get revved up for the game; something that cannot happen in a Regular Season game.

Regarding point 2, as I have been on record and, will so again in doing so. Too early to tell if Haskins will pan out. Should he pan out though, that means Pittsburgh's future plans for building their roster become all the better and less complex.

This may be why Tomlin is slow-playing declaring one better than the other ( someoneentioned Tomlin mentioning holding for Boswell as a factor). Might get a conditional 6th-7th for Berry, but only if teams don't think he will be cut early.

I think Haskins and Mason will be 2A and 2B....Haskins looked better but I wouldn't say he's a shoe in. Have to put who he was playing against and the guys around him in perspective.

The Oline, in the 2nd half looked very good. I don’t know what the deal is with Dotson and Tomlin, but he was solid and should be starting. I think Moore has looked good as well.

Everyone on planet Earth knows you’re not keeping 2 punters. Why would I trade two dead flies to the Steelers for a punter I know they’ll cut?
