The game against the Skins was my first Steelers game and NFL game. I had a blast, it was so much fun. I had a great time in the Burgh and will come back to another game. The whole atmosphere was great even though the weather was a little gloomy. My wife and I enjoyed eating at different place. We ate at Pramanti Brothers and Jerome Bettis Grille. We loved the Grill. It was a great time being in there watching college football Saturday night and everyone was so nice. The bartender got us an item that was not on the menu for the night because my wife said that was want she was really looking forward too. We both said that we will be going back there for sure.

The fans around us were great and only gave her a little ribbing since she is a skins fan. Our seats Sec 538 row J were great. I could see everything that was happening. I really enjoyed getting in the stadium early and watching the players warm up and seeing what all happens before a game started. I have a lot more respect for Wallace after seeing him warm up. When he was done he went and signed some autographs but the cool thing was he gave one of the balls he was warming up with to a little kid and signed it too. What put it over the top for me was when he was walking back into the locker room he stopped and took off his sweat shirt and gave to kid. The kid did not ask for it he just stuck his hand out and asked for a pound.

The whole team really seemed to be hyped for this game. They were jumping on each others backs going into the locker room, and dancing during the warm up and lots of other stuff. They just really seemed to be ready to play and get the unis off. As other fans around me pointed out they liked the jersey it was from the waist down that made it look so bad.

The coolest part for me other than the Steelers winning was when the jumbo tron went black. I pointed to it and my wife asked did the power go out to it. I knew from seeing video what was coming. The place went crazy when they started playing Renegade. The defense was jumping out of their shoes on the field. I had chills up and down my arms it was great!!!!!!

When we left I had lost my voice from screaming and yelling. I don't think I have yelled first down so much in my life. Sorry this post was so long but this was one of the top sports moments of my life. I can't wait to go to another game. :yeehaw:

There is NOTHING like being at Heinz Field when Renegade is playing- NOTHING!! I am happy they played it! I was at the Seahawks game last year and because we were shutting them out, they didnt play it

Sounds like you had a great time. I've been up for several games over the years and have always had a blast seeing the town, hanging out tailgating and going to the game.Renagade is awesome.
I take it you're not going to make good on that silly post you made a few weeks ago that you were done watching the Steelers afteryou went to the game?

It was sure a great game, even in the rain. Glad you had fun be sure to come back. I ended up scalping a single for $100 for a field level seat. The weather was sure making people dump tickets yesterday. I sat next to six Redskins fans, nice guys. One even bought me a beer, which was nice. Poor guys didn't have much to cheer about.

Damn that is a great price. I saw lots of people out trying to scalp tickets. Lots of empty gold seats. I would try that next time but don't want to drive 6.5 hours and take a chance.

Awesome. I went to a preseason game in 2005 but my first regular season game is December 30 against the Browns. That date can't get here quick enough.
