Here is a worst case scenario for those who are calling for Hines to retire or who are saying that the young money club will get the job done. First we all know the Steeler's cap issues and with Wallace being a RFA there is the possibility that the many teams that need a WR out there take a run at him. It could happen and Cotchery who I thought was a good pick-up last year could decide to move on to a team where he could get more playing time so that would leave the team with Sanders and Brown as the starting receivers, Sanders who has been battling injuries the last two years and Brown who has been spectacular but whose accomplishments must also be viewed with the thought that he was greatly helped by Wallace drawing double coverage. So there is a chance that with in a space of a few weeks the once solid and formidable looking Steelers WR corps could be reduced to two third year players and anyone they pull off the street. I think paying a million to keep Hines and letting him go out on his own terms is kinda cheap for an insurance policy. Again this is an extreme worse case scenario, but stranger things have happen. *cough Arains getting fired when people said no way it happens cough*
