I know this is a pipe dream because the cap won allow it or maybe some of you guys who know that stuff will say its possible but sucks.lol

    draft
    I would try and trade back. get a 2nd, 3rd, and 5th
rd2 William Jackson 111 cb Houston

rd2 chris jones dt miss st

rd3 miles killebrew s southern Utah

    rd3 Kenyan drake rb Alabama

    rd4 john theus ot Georgia

rd5 Justin simmons s boston college

    rd7 tanner mcevoy te Wisconsin

    rd7 Brandon allen qb Arkansas

that would make the roster look something like this. it also includes bringing back some of our free agents

    qb- ben, jones, Brandon allen

rb bell, Williams, nix, Johnson, Kenyan drake

wr brown, Bryant, coates, heyward-bey, phillips, and bring back wheaton

te james, sign coby fleener, tanner mcevoy

ol gilbert, pounce, Wallace, decastro, Villanueva, hubbard, john theus, bring back foster

de heyward, tuitt, chris jones, Walton

    dt mccullurs, bring back mclendon

lb Timmons, jones, Dupree, shazier, chickillo, Harrison, Williams, bring back spence

cb golson, grant, re sign gay cockrell, William Jackson, BIG SIGNING JANORIS JENKINS

s Mitchell, killebrew, simmons, BIG SIGNING MARK BARRON

    k bosewell
    p berry
    ls warren

I think that adds to 52. we could add a dlineman or olineman. I think it is possible draft wise but does anyone have any idea what barron and Jenkins are gonna get and can we afford it?

Why Mark Barron? Do you realize that he finally had success in the NFL by playing will backer in a 43 last season, and NOT by playing safety?

actually no. I don't watch the rams. I loved him at bama. ok. then put him at backer.lol no seriously, he can play in the box I know but I wasn't aware he was strictly a backer now. my bad. he is still listed as a safety in the free agent pool. thanks for the info though

I'd like it just for selfish reasons as then I could have a Steelers jersey with my last name on it with out paying for customizing it, no relation btw.

McEvoy is an intriguing guy. Played S and WR. You have him listed as a TE. Did they say that's where he was working out for the combine (if he was invited)?

edit- I do not see his name on the combine invite list. Tough for me to see him as a TE, he could I guess, but it'd be like a Matt Jones, Julian Thomas TE. Mostly receiver type guy imo. I would take him as a safety though. He's a redshirt junior, not even sure if he declared tbh.

He did well at will backer in a 43, but at under 220 lbs there would be no place for him as a LB in our defense. I saw where Lauranaitis said that he got cut because the Rams want to move Ogletree to the middle and keep Barron at will.

I'd take Lauranaitis just cause his dad is one of the Road Warriors! @blountforcetrauma@blountforcetrauma

AHHHHH WHAT A RUSH!!! That's actually awesome and I'm DEFINITELY in favor of getting him now! The LOD had a reputation within "the business" as being "stiff" which is a pro wrestling term for "hitting too hard". Maybe it would be one of those "like father like son" deals.

So no one here is big on Cravens from USC? I had seen him on like an early draft list from the guys on Steel Depot or something. My buddy told me he's a ball hawk and then I watched the highlights from Darien Thompson the other day and that dude has great ball skills.

I agree if that is his position now but isn't shazier about that size?
