I don't think you will notice a significant change in the O-line play next season. Where you will notice it most is in how we develop young talent in years to come.

I think he cares. I just think he is a weak leader. By the time he realizes that change needs to be made, it will be to late.

I’m not sure if Coach Munchak had any say in personnel. If so, we will miss that the most.

O-line is not important right? Who needs an O line, it’s not like we have an aging QB, & this whole league is based off of offense or anything. Just let the best coach walk will we have Homer Simpson as the head coach

Yeah the special teams guy should have been gone yesterday. What a pathetic **** show that was.

I wasn't thrilled about the running back coach getting let go.

I'm a little pissed about Munchak. It's not like the guy went on to be a head coach or anything. He's just simply coaching an offensive line elsewhere. Why I'd like to believe that it was family related, I have a feeling it wasn't.

As for AB, the guy still needs hung over a balcony by one foot looking down 20 stories.

And for Bell, remember he stated he was going to play the year. He wasn't true to his word. I would have kept him also, and by the time we realized he wasn't going to play it was beyond the trade deadline.

Thought we couldn't trade him because he never signed his franchise tag? Therefore, not under contract - and not tradeable. He had us right where we wanted him. LOL

Munch knows more, sees more than us fans and the media. I believe he didn't leave last year because he had hopes for this team. I also believe he is now leaving because he doesn't see enough change or improvement for this team to make it to a championship.
Family or not, sticking with the Steelers for a championship would be his first choice but, that choice just isn't there.
Having said this, not being hired as their head coach and then accepting another exact coaching position speaks volumes of the low esteem , value he views the Steelers.
Steelers are a ticking time bomb and the wrong Mike has left the team.

All in all, Rooney passed the buck, and MT found some more scapegoats for his own failure. The Steelers do not want to change, uninspiring insider hires and a maintenance of as close to the staus quo as possible was the goal, the same problems will exist next season and we'll have another soap opera to look forward too.

Beyond football, Colorado is a beautiful state. I can see how someone with backs would want to live there, especially if their family is there.

This whole avoidance of change with ownership is like a sickness. I don't understand how in this day and age of sports they can still think this way.

That's definitely true but going to work for a guy that beat you for a job generally isn't the norm.
