Multiple issues as i see it.

Big Picture:

no turnovers or "splash plays" on defense = defense is old. speed = turnovers, youth = speed--we have neither.

offensively;

unimaginitive play calling, subpar highschool offensive line, Mike Wallace = a one trick pony--seriously he needs to learn to get the ball at the highest point. always waiting for the ball.

End result:

Tomlin playing with a staff and players he inherited. I don't discredit his success however, it's now time to actually coach and make some decisions. "unleash hell" or something.

 

This team isn't playing with any intensity minus Ben. Then again, intensity usually leads to where James is tonight.

 

Starks has been a nice surprise and has been playing well after coming back after being cut. But tonight Max looked like he had 30 pound concrete shoes on. He got pwned tonight.

 

Totally agree on Wallace not jumping for balls at their highest point. He has done that for years now and it infuriates me. There are a lot more catches that he could of had, but didn't.

 

I would still rather have intensity and take a chance on sitting that perform like we did monday night

 

And, really, I didnt think we played that great against the Browns and Harrison still got suspended so I say just go for it...

I agree, also, with whoever said Starks got owned on MNF....he was horrible. Sigh.
