Got a few question and maybe my Steeler brothers can give me some perspective.

They are now saying that moving this guy in a " tag and trade" scenario will be impossible. Why?

    1. Is it because the Jets want too much for him?
    2. Is it because we have a draft with too many defensive DT's coming out?
    3.All of the above?

I've got some thoughts, give me yours?

Wants a lot of money. With high priced FA of our own (Bell & AB )on the horizon, plus #7
contract it will be hard to stay within the cap.AB's contract should be very interesting?

I'm not specifically referring to us per say. I know they guy wants big money. But if your a team like the Cardinals or even the Packers, isn't he worth it to you? Teams that are close and need a presence like his, he could put them close to the top. So why couldn't he be traded for their first round draft pick? The odds say he'd give them more value then the guy who their going to take down there.

Teams won't give up a 1st round for a 1 year rental would be the biggest factor I would think.

If a team had a feeling they could sign Wilkerson long term they might bite.

Most teams don't value interior DL for Wilkerson's high price though right or wrong.

He also had a leg injury at the end of last season, and is playing on a franchise tag would be difficult to trade.
