Guy could’ve sat this game out and not take a chance on an injury heading into FA.

Agreed. He deserves the payday. It probably doesn’t help us long term but he’s got the heart of a Steeler.

Wonder if they will be able to re-sign him.

Hope so. People down on this WR group but JuJu, DJ and Claypool is a really good trio.

We are talking about an team that designed an offense around a 6 yard adot and for some unknown reason avoided the MOF. But sure, the WR are bad

I have been very hard on JuJu. He displayed a lot of heart tonight.

I think re-signing him should be a priority. Clearly he wants to be a Steeler. We need guys like that.

I know everyone focuses on the Tik Tom stuff; however, he plays like a Steeler. He’s a hard nosed receiver. I’d love to keep him if the money is right.

    Umm..... everyone...

Given what both Tomlin and Colbert/Hunt have seen all year..., in a world without JuJu... I think he is resigned. If anything, JuJu would not be my biggest concern moving forward; Diontae the same. Chase Claypool... would be as James Washington is going bye bye. For that matter, the WR Corps is not as great as others make it out to be; Freiermuth included. Why?!

Pittsburgh still does not have that Wide Receiver that possess track burning speed as a deep threat. I initially thought Claypool was the answer.... then 2021 did not just show me a Sophomore Slump but also someone who sadly cannot stack his opposing DB on the outside numbers nor contest catches at the highpoint. A deep threat must be able to do both things. Chase cannot; all the more reason I suppose his main usage at Notre Dame was in the slot.

To conclude, Pittsburgh needs to draft a track burner of a Receiver; 4.3 or below speed being a must. Tyreek Hill and Scottie Miller are apart of two of the NFL's highest scoring offenses. That is no accident. Granted, having two all time QBs greatly help but a deep threat WR can literally give any Offense more options to score than without.

Do not be surprised if the team elects to select a WR early in the draft again.

I hope you don't go understated.

Correct me if I am wrong but youre talking about a field stretcher.

    If so, I agree.
DJ is not and in the martavias Bryant vein I hoped chase was. He's no limas sweed but I'd like a little more from my Z wr

He’d be amazing with Ben’s bad leadership out of the picture

I am very much in favor of resigning JuJu. He’s a better player than his 2019 and 2020 stats would indicate. The money has to be right of course.

I hoping he gets paid so we get a decent comp pick.

Honestly the best thing for his career is to sign elsewhere. I'd hate to see his career languish here.

We could resign him if we wants to, I just don't see how he's gonna command super high money.

He might take less to play for a contender. Was reading he may want to play in KC.

JuJu wants to play for KC and get a ring. Can’t blame him he won’t be getting one here.

    First green font = sarcasm

Next Brown didn't win anything he was on the team that won the SB.

Duce Staley 3 SB rings, 0 carries in a SB, 0 yards rushing in a SB, 0 touchdowns in a SB, 0 passes caught in a SB, 0 receiving yards in a SB. More rings than Brown.

Ab caught a TD in the sb and sure look like they missed him this past Sunday. He wouldn't have dropped those passes Tyler Johnson did.

The fact that you think the gift TD Brown was given from Brady won the game is without a doubt a sign of mental illness. That game was won by the Bucs defense.

Yeah, emotional stability really helped his team this season. I’m not denying that he’s a great player when he’s behaving as a functional adult. Unfortunately that’s been a big issue for him. My sarcasm was directed at your earlier ridiculousness regarding Ben being a key cause of his emotional problems. His problems are internal, and I would not want that kind of cancer here again despite the on-field talent. Especially now that his physical talent is on the downswing.
