Come on Mr. Rooney wake up and smell the coffee. In case you have not noticed you have a terrible team and coaches. You also have a lot of fans that are extremely disappointed in your performance as the owner of one of the greatest franchise that the NFL ever had and you Mr. Rooney are letting your father and grandfather down with your tactics. So on behalf of all Steelers fans please wake up and do something any thing would be better than what you are doing now.

My high school English teacher would of had, a field day with her red pen on this one.

She would more than likely had a problem with the comma I left on my last sentence too.

    Feel better now?

Over the years I wrote 2 letters to Dan Rooney. I didn’t get the job. I did get the seats.

I think the Rooney's don't need much advise from anyone on this board. They've been doing this an awful long time and the reason why this is one of the best franchises in the league.

They will make changes as needed, but they do not make rash changes, and this is the reason they are one of the most stable franchises in league history.

Stability is a good thing when the results are good. It's been 10 years since our last SB victory. That is a stable, but not in a good way. Some times you need to shake things up to improve the results.

    Dear ljkjr74,

Thanks for your letter, but I own the team and I'll run it my way thank you. If you got $2billion burning a hole in your pocket, I'll give you a chance to do better.

Hugs and kisses, your friend, AR II

Look, the Rooney's do not really care. As long as the bills get paid, mediocrity is fine.

You think they or any other owner really cares? It is a business first. If you doubt that they care, just take a look at the empty seats across the league. The Chargers can't even fill the Stub Hub in LA and it only seats like 40k. Oakland is full of empty seats. Atlanta was full of empty seats on Sunday and so it goes across the board.

So, TV is footing the bill. Attendance is pretty meaningless these days. They make the majority of their money from the TV contract. So, why on earth would they care if they have a 8-8 team or a 13-3 team? Yes, the SB is nice, but it does not make or break them as a business.

As long as the fans continue to buy jerseys, tickets, and all the other junk, then they don't have much to worry about. Now, if folks stay home and they play in front of a half empty stadium, you might get their attention but I doubt all the season ticket holders will throw away all the money they spent on tickets.

Long story, it is a business and if the bottom line is not effected, nothing will change. In their mind, why change anything? The fans will throw a hissy fit and they will eventually get over it.

She said she was a magic mama, and could throw a mean tarot.
And carried on without a comma, that she was someone I should know.

This may be the most inaccurate statement ever posted on this message board. Apparently you know little about the Steelers and Rooney family.
