I figured I'd make a place for this. It will Mainly be Scfi/Horror/Fantasy, but not always.
If You have seen any of these, or something else....let me hear Your opinions.
    1st up was
    Pet Sematary: Bloodlines(2023).
It was about the town, and the people dealing with what went on in the 1600s, and in 1969. I was excited to see this, but while a nice cast , and some good things.....IMO...it fell short of the task.
    Next Up was ....
    Paranormal Activity: The Ghost Dimension(2015)....
Not a big fan of Paranormal Activity films, but since I seen all the others....I figured I'd finally see this one. It was IMO the best of all of them, but not great, but worth seeing if You like these films. Always so many holes in all these films.
    That's it for this shot.
Did anyone see these, what did You think, and do You even want to see them??

Saw the updated Pet Cemetery movie but can't remember much about it which means it was forgettable. Still really liked The Last Voyage of the Dementor, a different twist on Dracula's trip to England from Amsterdam if I remember correctly. Dark and eerie. I think Steel Machine alerted us to this one. I'm in Season 8 of Walking Dead. Never watched it first run. Pretty good for the most part but also very frustrating at some of the stupidity of Rick and Company. Negan is still alive so no spoilers please. I was sorry the tiger or Sasha didn't get him when they had the chance.

I really liked the Last Voyage of the Demeter. They never really show it in the Dracula movies, and only in flashes, and in the book it's only mentioned when they read the Captains log. I've watched it a few times. My only complaint is.....they act like in the end of the movie like we don't know what happens to Dracula, or like they were trying to change it.

Recently rewatched the original 'The Thing'. Still a fantastic movie.

Watched the movie 'Underwater' on one of the streaming sites. Not a lot of best actor nominations, but some cool suspense moments.

I'm a huge monster movie nut. Does not need quality acting, doesn't even need to be in English.
I didn't care much for the latest Alien installment. It was fine for the genre, had all the elements. Just lacked characters I wanted to root for, and the final 'boss' alien was dumb. In fact, I think it was probably better as a movie overall, but the end was so moronic it kinda ruined everything else. Idk.

Just watched Beetlejuice 2 on HBO. If you watch on MAX you have a lady in the corner signing (ASL) the whole movie. It's annoying so I had to watch in real time on HBO. I liked it. Amazing the actors are 35 years older but Hollywood make-up is a marvel.

Michael Keaton is amazing but you'd expect that from an avid Pittsburgh Pirate fan.

That was S.T.D who alerted us to that movie. Hey, I can't remember what season but Hines Ward is a zombie in one of the Walking Dead shows. He'd be the cocky one pushing people around going for the brains;)

The Thing by John Carpenter is My Favorite movie of all time. I watch it at least 2 times a year.
I thought Underwater was way better than I thought it would be. I've seen it a few times now. Gave Me HP. Lovecraft vibes.
I haven't seen the latest Aliens movie yet, but it's on My list, and I have a Instrumental called Face Huggers I'm going to be recording soon.

Did the 2 original ghosts ever get a cameo?

Also, I did not connect the dots until the end who the headless man was.

I think they were mentioned and it took me to end for the headless guy. Easy to see the technological advances since 1988.

I watched Pale Rider (again) last night on TV. The last movie in a theater was Dune part 2

I was not a big fan of the original Beetlejuice. The sequel doesn't tempt me so much. One of my daughters bought it on Prime so I have it just sitting there to watch every single day.(The original that is. Also Krampus for some reason.)

Yes, the latest installment of Alien is 'Romulus'. And no, there are no Romulans in the movie. That would have improved it, IMO.

Not a movie but a new series on MGM. Earth Abides. It's so-so. In a 42 minute episode, two of the few remaining humans left, found each other, made love, had a baby all the while chasing off tons of rats (jerks bit the cool dog) until the cats came to town. Oh, he also found and learned to install solar panels. All this happened in one episode. Talk about jumping ahead fast.
