Most underrated Steeler...

I've never quite understood all of the disdain for Suisham. I know he's had some issues, but I've been much happier with him than I was with Reed during the latter part of Reed's time in Pittsburgh.

 

A field goal is not an automatic money shot by any means.Many elements-factors evolve around this position and i don't need to sit here and list them..any kicker any given game can make one feel uneasy and Shaun is not exempt. I feel he will only progress in his game with the Steeler organization.

 

i think right now we stand pretty good in the kicking game. suishams kick have been going down the middle. so was the one he missed. he just didn't hit that one well. yes it will get cold and windy but at home he gets to play there and has to have a better feel then others coming in. very happy so far. i have to give some props to butler too as the holder. he has done well as our punter too. the kids a rookie and just goes about his business as he's been doing it for years here. also very happy so far. warren is warren. steady eddy. makes some tackles. does his thing.

i don't know if we keep them or not next year. warren makes upwards of 1 mil.. suisham 1.7+. moneys gonna be tight.

 

I have said in the past that it seems like he only misses when it really matters - late in games late in the season. This year he has proven me wrong and I hope he continues to do so.

 

I have been very impressed with Suisham this year. Going into the season I thought they made the wrong choice but boy am I glad they were right and I was wrong.

That being said. I still believe that L.C. Greenwood continues to be the most underrated Steeler of all time.
