Harbaugh, with or without Lamar, has an almost identical playoff record to Tomlin. Chew on that for a bit. If we weren't just a complete shambles right now, I'd say we have a chance.

I'm some parts of this country, football means nothing...or it's just a game. In Pittsburgh, for many, many people, the Steelers are a religion, myself included. Not above God, not above family, but just a smidgeon below both. I believe that, and I always will until I die. If that means my emphasis is on the "wrong" things in life, then so be it.

With that said, Cowher's tenure has the exact same grade as your boy Dumblin... a C. You grade them both equally, IMO. Both had PREMIUM levels of talent, generational players, HOF players, and Pro-Bowlers up their rear ends...yet only have 2 SB wins since 1992. Not good enough, not even close. If you think that's good enough, you're NOT a real Steelers FAN...you're a Steelers FOLLOWER!

OH NO!!! Timmy says I'm not a "real" Steelers fan! Whatever will I do? I guess I'll have to turn in my Terrible Towel, but which one? Donate all my jerseys to someone who deserves them.

In the mid 90s, I brought a boat from Chicago to Ft Lauderdale. As we crossed into some small town in Alabama, I saw a glow over the hill as we stopped at a marina for the night. I asked the dockmaster if there was a carnival in town because of the lights and she looked at me as if I had 2 heads. She said, "It's Friday night! High school football!" Now, here in Southern California, High school football isn't a big deal. Especially at the school I went to. Our team was awful! You keep equating your life's worth to a football team Timmy. I'll just follow them and be happy that I beat cancer, have a comfortable life and my family is relatively healthy and look back on the memories of past games and hope for more wins and go fishing in the offseason!
