Tomlin will get destroyed in the first round. That means zero playoff wins in 8 consecutive seasons. If Tomlin didn’t get to face backup QBs he would have 14 straight seasons. It’s insane they chose to give him another extension. Cowher coached for 15 years and only had 7 seasons without a playoff win never more than 3 in a row yet they ran him out of Pittsburgh.

So you are going to Vegas and putting money on the Steelers? I posted weeks ago this was a clown show.

It won’t shock me if the Raiders beat the Chargers. The Raiders play division rivals hard and I don’t think that game is a slam dunk win for the Chargers. Plus, maybe Jim Harbaugh will want to lose on purpose so that he can play his Brother John in Baltimore next week and finally beat him since he is 0-3 against him head to head lol.

This is my SB. If we can beat Baltimore, we're playing with house money after that.

Chargers would prefer to play the Texans

It would be nice to beat the Ravens in the playoffs. If Dionta Jackson doesn’t come back from injury and the Steelers OC doesn’t call more pass plays especially on 1st down the Steelers will lose

No. No. And No. Nothing other than the SB is our SB. This has been a bad stretch… But we’re still not the Browns. Come on man.

I admire your optimism, believing that winning the SB is in any way a rational thought.

Not exactly true, his first wife's cancer diagnosis ran him out of Pittsburgh. He kept it as private as he could, but it shifted his priorities and forced him to leave the game...can't really say I blame him, either. With that said, what upset so many Steelers fans with Cowher was fiddle-assing around with a scrub qb like Neil O'Donnell, and then following that up WASTING years of our lives while he tried to force Korky Stewart to be an NFL qb, instead of leaving him at WR, which is what he should have done.

Had Cowher invested in a franchise QB early in his tenure, instead of putting faith in POS qb's, he could have had more Championships than Bill Billichump. All the defensive advantages Cowher had over Billichump was neutralized with substandard QB play. Defense wins Super Bowls, true, but NOT when you have scrub qb's like O'Donnell and Korky. It's also the reason when I see these junior high and Taylor Swifty-type Steelers fans rah rah-ing over scrubs like Russel Wilson & Justin Fields, I can't help but laugh...and it makes you wonder about the quality of our GM hires, too! If you're a GM, and you enter a season with an AVERAGE coach like Mike Dumblin, and combine that with scrap heap qb's like Wilson & Fields...you should be FIRED as a GM!

I thought it was the cancer as well and it may have had a big impact on. However I read an article that said after he won a Super Bowl he wanted to be paid at the higher end of the pay scale that other coaches were getting supposedly the Rooney’s didn’t agree

I will even though it will be like passing a bad car accident. Can't help but look. Steelers have to be one of the worst playoff teams in the past 10 years and Ravens will have the game won by the 3rd quarter.

Season ending 5 game losing streak coming up. This may be an excellent opportunity for Mike Tomlin to step down and admit the game has passed him by.

If the Press loves Mike Tomlin, then they can have him. Put Tomlin in a booth somewhere but just get him the hell out of Pittsburgh. :)

I don't care. I would never stoop so low as to act like our little brothers, the Ravens are somehow our Super Bowl. That's beyond ridiculous and not worthy of any Steeler fan.

Doesn't matter. His backup will torch Steelers secondary. Strange how other playoff teams have backups who step up and produce, while our backups don't do squat.

Van Jefferson ready to go off at any moment.

Next guy up for Steelers worked well from 2001-2011. Hasn't worked since then.

I remember Steelers losing the awesome Casey Hampton at NT to IR in 2004. Steelers didn't miss a beat with his backup, Chris Hoke.

Yeah! 'Cause franchise QBs are a dime a dozen! A GOOD GM would be able to pick one in the draft every year no matter where you pick! With some of the seasons Cowher had, I'm surprised you don't have some cute misspelling for his name.
If you really believe that YOUR life was somehow wasted by a football coach's decisions, maybe you're putting to much emphasis on the wrong things?!

Baltimore is hitting their stride and it is an away game. A lot there to not feel good about. Having said that, it is a division game and Harbaugh/Lamar have performed about as well in the playoffs as Tomlin.
