Tore this out of my post on another thread so forgive the repetition-

    - Interested in hearing about this from other long time fans (and short time fans too):

This ranks as one of the most improbable Steelers upsets in my 50 years of watching (and the Bengals game was pretty improbable too, come to think of it). Some others to remember-

1988- a 1-6 Steelers team upsets defending AFC Champion Denver 39-21
1989- the Steelers beat the Browns on the road with Todd Blackledge 3 weeks after being beat 51-0 by them
2012- Charlie Batch fills in and beats the Ravens on the road 23-20- the Ravens would sickeningly win the SB that year
2019- any win that Duck Hodges started at Qb

I am sure I am forgetting some, feel free to discuss.

Attending Krafts wedding did not lead to a Brady happy ending.

I have seen my share of these since 1975 even though they are kinda rare. The 1984 win in San Fran always stands out.

For those who have been watching the Steelers the last 15 years, this is not a surprise win. Steelers seem to win games when they've been called chumps many times. It's when they play chumps when they **** the bed.

Steelers have another possible improbable win vs Eagles in 2 weeks. If they beat the best team in the NFC ...this team will be special. It's crazy how one win and a Raven and Brown loss can change the entire trajectory of a season.

Exactly why I said trading players, and giving up on a 17 game season on 5 games was way too soon.

The comeback against the Jags a few years back was pretty improbable. Down too much with too little time. Had 0 offense all day that day. Still got it done barely. The Mike Vick, Le'Veon TD as time expired vs. the Chargers. Bengals playoff game on the road, Landry's INT should've ended it, but we got Burfict and PacMac giving us a free 30 for the dub.

    This.

People tend to forget how great Mike Vanderjagt was up until that missed kick. Adam Vineterai was the best Kicker in the NFL at that time but Mike was the very close second for certain. After that kick though... he was not the same again.

Can't remember the year but the steelers beat the patriots and eagles in back to back weeks when both were undefeated almost halfway through the season. Either Ben's 1st or 2nd season I think

Yup. I still don't know how they did it. I need to see if I can find that one on YouTube. I wasn't living in Pittsburgh at the time, so I didn't see it. That one was on the road, too.

Steelers beat the Eagles at their house...it will be epic. But... Dolphins are next. Gotta take care of business.

We can win without Watt and Fitz. We are 1-infinity without them, but it's a nice start.
