most important defensive stat

    Hate to say it, but don't look at the Patriots' D being ranked 32nd, they don't give up a lot of points. They are going to be tough come the playoffs. For the most part, this is the Steeler's D, let them drive down the field, but make them earn it. Once you get close, D tightens up. Yards don't matter. Points do.

    yep is if you give 500 yards and 10 points u win.....if you give up 300 yards but 31 points you probably lose

    Good observation. Winning is the only stat that matters.

    Steelers have given up 179 points so far, provided they don't give up 21 or more tonight, they'll be 4th in the league behind San Fran, Houston, and the Rats.

    That's why yards really doesn't mean that much. It's all about scoring, on both sides of the ball.
