He did say one time though that if he could ever suit up one more time for a former team that he would love to wear the Black and Gold one more time.

I figured my comment made as much sense as the original post.

 

He was a Steeler, and I really dislike him now; Legarrette Blount. Although I also blame the front office for not trading him to Cleveland, instead of just releasing him.

 

At the least,I felt they should have made him ride the bench for the rest of the season. I like your idea better.

 

I can't really hate any Steelers...but I am certainly disappointed in some...

1. Neil O'Donnell. Not because of SB XXX, which I don't blame him for completely, but because he bailed and cost the Steelers SB XXXI. He had a monster 1995 and was poised for better with the addition of Bettis.

2. Eric Green. People saying Gronk is dominant never saw Green. Eric Green could have / should have been the most dominant TE in NFL history. He was a physical specimen unlike any at that position. But his work ethic stunk and he had personal issues and never came close to his potential. A crying shame.

3. Mike Wallace. Talk about a player who talked the talk and couldn't walk the walk.

Honorable mention: Cedric Wilson, Hardy Nickerson, Lamar Woodley

 

Landry Jones quickly moving up the charts.

 

I'll bite:

Wouldn't say "hate" but I'm least fond of Sean Mahan, who took a year off of ben's career with that atrocious pass blocking.

And who could forget Willie "false start" Colon? Thankful that we won a SB with him, though.

The image of Tyrone Carter whiffing on play after play vs. Jax in the postseason '07 also comes to mind.

 

Yeah, it sucks that Wallace had to bounce around teams before he saw the bigger picture.

 

I wonder how much money he got to keep from all of his deals?

 

Don't hate but dislike: Mark Malone. The only NFL QB in my life time to willingly call an option play. Noll still allowed his QBs to call their own plays well past when others had given that responsibility to offensive coordinators. Malone calls an option as they were driving for a winning score against the clowns and not surprisingly chaos ensues resulting in a fumble. I think that ended a 17 game home win steak against them and was their first win in Three Rivers.

Tim McKyer was a mouth at CB that couldn't cover a lineman. He gave up that bomb against the Chargers in the AFCCG that we lost.

Scott Shields, Delton Hall, Tim Worley are all players I disliked because I just didn't think they were good at their jobs
