Of course for me, as a Dodger fan, it would have to be Kirk Gibson's shot in the WS!

While never a Dodger fan (even after 50 years in SoCal) this was a great one as well especially the back story and Vinny's incredible game calling. :thumbs up:

Vin could call someone's B.M. and it would be worth listening to...

I threw some jackass I used to be pretty close friends with out of my house because he was first b!tching about my GSD then b!tching about what I was watching, otherwise I would have missed that home run.

Obviously I agree but in Toronto they have their own Maz. Damn if his name will come to me but I remember the HR because I live among the Philly faithful and that HR crushed them.

Not a Dodger fan but that was one of my favorites. Needless to say as a Pirate fan I'm a huge hater of all the money teams. (jealous) Then I think of how the Dodgers pay the $$$$ every year and had a lot of heartbreak in the Playoffs and realize that is a heartbreak I'll never have to worry about. Beat em Bucs;)*

*I don't live in the Burgh and when I say "Bucs" everybody but older folks think I'm a Tampa Bay fan.

My wife is from New Mexico and went to school in Albuquerque

She went to Albuquerque Dukes games and a lot of those guys moved up to the Dodgers so she became a Dodgers fan

When Gibson made that hit I had nodded off and was instantly woken up by her yelling

Mr. Joe Carter. Impressive as well because they were trailing when he hit the walkoff with 2 men on base. It wasn't a 7th game and they weren't playing the world beater Yankees, but still impressive and memorable for Canadian sports fans. I'm sure Bob (from Canada) is still smiling. :smiley1:

Years ago it would have been Bobby Thomson's home run. "The Shot heard around the world."
