Few things here. He did practice at least one day this week as Vick let that slip. Personally, I don't think the player they cut has much to do with Bryant's availability. They have a roster exemption for him until Monday, so they're not going to help any other teams out in that regard. Any player they cut this week is going to get a check for this week.

I always seem to get distracted when reading articles on that website. Can't really put my finger on the reason why...:th jawdrop2:

Anyway, it would be a real bummer to see Bryant miss the San Diego game. We could really use him right now.

maybe it's more of MT sending a disciplinary message that you haven't re-earned your spot just because you are back now.

I would actually applaud Tomlin for making an example of him. I doubt he does though since he didn't do it to Le'Veon.

Yeah and he has generally benched guys for fumbling but we've yet to see if he will do that to Bell. I would be shocked if he did but I really don't wanna talk about Bell's ball security for fear of jinxing it. LOL. I'm just morbidly curious as to what Tomlin would do though.

If Bryant doesn't play I think the offense will continue to struggle like they did against the Ravens.

true it was a trade, but. why not a trade for these other guys from higher up? i do agree with you BF about that. as i said mixed signals. i don't want any of them going anywhere and i hope they have learned they're lesson. we need all hands on deck right now and down the stretch.

    My sentiments exactly.

It's turning into one of those seasons where either we show amazing resilience in the face of adversity, or we finish an inconsistent 9-7.

I remain optimistic... maybe Bryant heals in time for Monday.

Definitely unfortunate. DHB has filled in admirably but Bryant, coming off his rookie year, is already one of the most feared deep threats in the league.

But yeah, you just can't take a month off of football and expect to jump back into the lineup.

Wish you were right mac but I don't think MT has that kind of ethic. Plus it isn't like having Bryant on the field is going to magically make the offense look like Ben Roethlisberger is back there.... man I hate vick....

Wish we knew more, is he hurt cause he was not in football shape? If so that sucks and shame on him, if it is just a practice injury then fine our bad luck continues. One thing I know is we need him back bad. Yeah DHB has done a fine job but he is no Bryant, not to mention without Ben we need every weapon we have.

Far more concerned about Shazier missing another game than missing Bryant for another game.
