Actually that is where grimble is the best, down the seam. Juju and Switzerland are our best across the middle players but we juju moving around as the number one which has left a void in the middle for a threat receiver. To make juju effective, someone else needs to fill this role. Switzerland will be killed by midseason if we keep relying on him to fill this void. This isn't moncriefs game and they are trying to force a square peg in a round hole. I thought this might be a role for Samuels honestly.

I agree on Grimble. Switzer isn’t filling the role 10-20yds down the field . He is a check down option. Currently no one is filling the role down the middle and that’s part of the problem.

Honestly not too familiar with Holton but based on PS he looks to be a outside down the field receiver but he also looks to have some elusiveness in the open field once he catches it. Could be a good end around guy as well. I would say kinda like DHB . Less speed, better hands and run after catch.

I thought maybe he had some untapped potential. I asked a Raiders fan what he thought of Holton when the Steelers pick him up, his response was "He doesn't suck". I guess he didn't play much there, or enough to establish an opinion.

Bell had 92 yards of total offense. He averaged 3.5 yards per carry on 17 rushes and caught six passes for 32 yards in an offense that managed only seven points. (The Jets got a touchdown and a safety from the defense and finished with 16 points total.)

He wasn't bad, but it certainly wasn't anything impressive.

I’ll give him the benefit of the doubt. He’s not known for drops.

The good news is he was getting open.

Everyone gets a fresh start from me for the Seattle game. If we see the same garbage, make room for me on the ledge.
