Wow, Apple is taking on the whole Godzilla / King Kong Universe with this TV series.

I have now seen the first 2 episodes and there are a lot of time jumps with Wyatt Russel and Kurt Russel playing the same character 50 years apart. I think that is pretty cool as you can see a lot of Kurt in Wyatt.

Also, like the John Goodman opening from Skull Island.

I was a huge fan of these Big Monster movies as a kid, so this one is going to be fun to watch.

I will watch. I'm a huge K. Russell fan. He has played in my favorite movie of all time.

Also a John Carpenter movie....although JMO....I was never a big fan of either Escape movie....NY, or LA. I actually like Him better in Big Trouble in Little China. Hmmm:hmm:...it appears John Carpenter has used Him in quite a few movies.

It’s actually better than expected. Only time will tell if it continues on current trajectory or falls off

I love the Dual family angle, because really, there was no reason to write that.

Both worthy contenders. I thought for sure Escape from New York was what you were angling towards.

I have to believe that the creator of Halo was inspired by this movie. Lots of similar plot points.

I’m guessing we will eventually learn it’s not actually a dual family. Hiroshi kept the kids apart knowing one or both would be needed in the future to save all mankind or something

My sister has it because she pays to be an Amazon Prime customer which gets you free shipping on most your orders. If you are an Amazon Prime guy you should be able to get it on the tube. I do not have it but hate night football anyway.

The Mrs and I watched the whole series it was pretty good, something different and not bad for a TV budget. Now on to Masters of the Air.

You don't like Pliskin come on. The 2nd one sucked but the first is a cult classic. The chandeliers on the Dukes car is legend enough, LOL.
