Mitch Trubisky already throwing Matt Canada under the bus?

It would be funny if Trubisky were to use the, "We should punt on 1st down and get it over with" Bubby Brister line.

 

im amazed they treat any QB in the NFL like a toddler. I can’t see how that could possibly be effective, and clearly it’s not.

 

Max Starks claims that at times Ben just Disregarded Canada’s play calls.

 

I don't know who to believe when it comes to Mitch not being allowed to call Audibles?

Chris Simms was talking about how most NFL offenses actually call 2 plays in the huddle, so they can change the play at the line of scrimmage depending on how the defense is set. When the QB starts yelling "Check-Check" or "Omaha-Omaha", it just means they are going to the B-Play that was called in the huddle.

If Canada is running with an offense that does not allow Mitch to change the play when he reads the defense; that is not an NFL, College, or even a High School offense. I think you would have to go all the way back to a grade school type offense when QBs were not allowed to check out of a play.

 

The other thing that's bothering me is the wholesale technique change for the O-line. A good coach doesn't make them change everything they know then expect them to perform. A more reasoned approach would be toi asses what each man does and filter in your principles based on your personnel! This Square peg and round hole crap is frustrating.

Canada doesn't seem to be calling anything that stresses a defense. His concepts are simple and they keep talking about motion. window dressing for crap plays isn't an offense. every time I see these mess concepts it just shows each WR bringing more defenders into one area to defend!

 

This is the reason I believe Ben led the league in 4th QTR comebacks last year with 6. Herbert was 2nd with 5.

The 1st half he would try to stay on script, but by the 4th QTR he would just start calling his own plays in the huddle to try and pull out a win.

 

Yep. Had to with Canadas scheme. I believe that Mitch is handcuffed but i'm not defending some of his decision making. Best see a more posed effort tonight or Pickett should start the Jets game. Then we will really see if its Canada scheme or Mitch. I don't believe it's the latter but it could be both.

Oh and if I see another 3 yard dump off when you need 9 and i'm going to go through the TV.
