    Minkah Stinkah

I want Highlights all over ESPN and every other sports broadcast dammit.

Too much money paid out for little return.

Minkah ruined last years playoff game in Buffalo.
He should have stayed on the bench. Just awful.

Elliot has been more splashy than Fitz this year. That's the way it's supposed to be in a Steelers defense... the strong safety being the disrupter, Troy Polamalu.

For the most part... Fitz has done his job.

He didn’t even do that by himself. That was Kazee, too.

True, they also got a very favorable spot. I thought he had the 1st down on progress. Better lucky than good sometimes. I'd like to see Minkah make more of an impact like he did his first couple of years here. I agree that he's no longer a Pro Bowl caliber player, but he's been pretty solid though, at least in regards to tackling.

Didn’t Ed Reed always play a similar role as Fitzpatrick is this season? Reed seemed to make a lot more splash plays.

not that I ever want to argue for a Raven… especially today! 8-2 in about 5 hours!!

This is true. Like I've already said, I'd like to see Minkah make more of an impact to justify that big contract. He's still in his physical prime, hopefully he'll come around at some point this season.

Simple Answer : Not a contract year or he'd be balling.

I think he made more of an impact because the players around him weren't as good. We have a more balanced defense now in my opinion. There's good players all over the field. That reduces a lot of the opportunity or requirement for any single player to be a beast.

Must give credit here, he had multiple TD saving tackles in this game. If he prevents bombs and makes game savings tackles, I’m find with lower splash plays.

I knew a guy who worked for the federal government in Alexandria, VA. His agency was spread out over several buildings and somehow no one knew what building he was assigned to. He told me he just wondered from building to building with a clipboard and would stop every once in awhile and pretend to write something down and then move on to the next building. He received a pay check every 2 weeks for years pulling off this scam, heck he still might be doing it.

I don't a see a problem with Minka Fitzpatrick, if you don't notice someone too much in the secondary that's usually a good sign.

I think people expect too much from star players.
Like TJ Watt. If he gets double teamed, which frees up someone else to get to the QB, he's doing his job. If he stuffs the run all game long, he's doing his job. That won't be enough though, people want to see strip sacks or they think he's struggling.

    Unrealistic expectations.

I do hope to see more splash plays from Minkah though. I think he's playing well, but I do think he has the ability to elevate his game even further.

Think about the Pat McAfee story how they run the fake FG play and it scores 100%of the time. He calls the play to kick it because of where TP43 lines up. Nothing else effects the play, just where Troy lines up. Kick the 3!!! TP43 saves 4pts because he affects a play by where he lines up.

When teams do not throw to an area of the field because Minkah is in that area, that is a play made by Minkah even though Minkah didn't need to make a football play. If you do not understand how this works, and in every single game, try learning.
