I agree, blame Tomlin for misusing his talent by basically playing him at middle linebacker. Minkah is only 200lbs, but they have him going up against guys that outweigh him by 30-80lbs routinely. No wonder why he's always hurt, and ineffective when he does play

He is a FREE SAFETY not a strong safety or in the box safety, he cannot continue to take on
300 pd OL and 240 pd backs on a continual basis. AS SE states he is a deep safety. I mentioned
before he got hurt first time, he wouldn't stay healthy making all these tackles.

He is one tough hombre, I expect him to play with passion. Lets hope the OL does too.

It isn't the ideal way to use him, but he is actually very good at it. I imagine we will see more of that Sunday, with him getting man-to-man assignments against the Bills' tight ends.

If I remember correctly, none of the injuries that cost him time happened while he was taking on a lineman or a running back. The hamstring was a non-contact injury while he was in coverage against the Jaguars. The knee was a collision with a teammate. (Man, they have had way too many friendly fire injuries this season.) He did break his hand while making a tackle, but it was never made clear if that was after a pass reception or coming up in run support.

He should have help by a LB first 10 yds, TE should also be chipped at LOS every time he goes out,

The constant mixing of LOS play has broken this player down, he is an effective PLAYMAKER when he plays deep. Someone
else can take on these big uglies. Preferably 240 pd lb's.

I was commenting on KZ, not Minkah, not being good.

Minkah has been banged up most the season. the hamstring week 4 or 5 set him in a tumble for the season....

Minkah healthy is still the class of the league. He will back 100% next season

Yeah, but how's he going to stay healthy if he's regularly taking on TE's or OT's that outweigh him by 60-100lbs? I don't blame Minkah for that, it's Tomlin

Maybe not directly, but you can't tell me that playing him out of position hasn't taken a toll on his body

Possibly, but there is a big element of luck involved in non-contact or friendly fire injuries.

Even with all the time he has missed Minkah is still top 10 on the team for tackles, they need to let him play more in coverage and be a playmaker.

Im not disputing that losing TJ hurts badly and certainly the depth is hurt when you lose two MLB. However all teams have starters that are missing from training camp to the playoffs the good teams overcome it and the bad teams don’t. Which will Mike T have us classified as?

I think your penmanship is great btw even via typing.

That's true. Injuries can happen even in the best of situations. It really does come down to luck, but I think they're asking a 200lb guy to do too much by stacking him in the box all the time
