    Some parts I liked:

    -Somebody put a sign over his locker that says "Coach Hampton." Casey said he's all for it, if they add it to his salary. In a related matter, apparently he took a $3.09 million pay cut. I thought it was only $2 million.

    -Casey thinks a lot of McLendon, saying he could start for a number of other teams in the NFL. Will it still be a surprise when Steve blows everyone away this year, if everybody sees it coming?

    -Although it's not a sure thing, his focus is to be ready for week 1 against Denver.

    -Hoke is still hanging around, helping out. That's three players, including two excellent players that Ta'amu is learning from, in addition to coaches.

    I figured hokie wouldn't be able to stay away. Dude loves the game the steelers and the city. Of all the players people want to be a coach I would say he has the best shot. He knows the game and knows how to get the job done. Mclendon even said hoke was a great teacher for him.

    Ha! I was just going to post that clip of Casey running today. :D Looks like his knee is coming along. I read somewhere earlier that he doesn't foresee being PUP come week 1.

    no serious injuries and everyone should be at or near 100% for camp. this is great news. :cool:

    Troy Smith versus Leftwich in a throwing competition indeed... any reports on how Smith has been throwing? Or was I too optimistic earlier hoping he would show up energised and obviously superior to Lefty?
