Mike Tomlins Press Conference

I hate Ryan Adams because he never plays "summer of 69" in concert everytime I see him.
It's not like I don't keep yelling to him live to play it.
then I just get this look from him like
Tom Araya gave me the same look one show when I kept yelling Blame it on the reign!!
Mustaine did the same when I kept up with Battery.
I asked the possum if he could play what's up pussycat so...

yeah it's not that I hate anyone but I can't help but F$%^ with them.

I think the confusion stems from the belief that all Steelers fans should come from the perspective of just wanting to see the team do well on the field. When you encounter a fan that comes from the perspective of hating the coach for nonsensical reasons even if he leads the team to perfection, it's more than strange.

I just thought it was important for the initial poster who felt a way about those comments to be backed up because it was disheartening as a fan to see him passive aggressively attacked for posting his honest opinion.

I love the Steelers tho and I'm cool with anyone else who loves them. So I'm done with this misunderstanding.

You said you'd "question any so called Steeler fan". Then you just said "I'm not questioning her fandom". Then, in the very next sentence, you said "I clearly questioned her fandom." LOL!!! Let me help you out. This place is called "thesteelersFANS". EVERYBODY that's here is a fan. Whether they state things in the politically correct way that you would prefer or not. We are all fans here. Just because someone might be "irrational" doesn't mean they're not a fan. Also just because someone doesn't like Tomlin, regardless of what he does, doesn't mean they're not a fan. To be "not a fan" you would have to be a fan of one of the other 31 teams in the league. That's what literally has to happen for you to be "not a fan". Also there is no "passive aggression" going on.

This is the last time I'm saying anything about this. For one thing, this post was a reply. Someone wanted to know my reasons for not liking him- so I told them.
It's crazy to me how people are getting so bent out of shape over my opinion on Tomlin. People express their opinion on here every day & I don't see people calling them racist. I'm allowed to post what I feel. Thank you Blast Furnace & Blountforcetrauma for defending that- whether you agree with everything I said.

You're right- I don't know Mike Tomlin as a person. I don't like his arrogance. But I'm not talking about him as a person. I'm on a Steelersfans message board- I don't like the guy as our head coach. I guess I didn't make that clear.
Blountforcetrauma said this better but you have no right to question anyone's fandom. You don't know us personally. Everyone here is a fan- some maybe more passionate and vocal than others. Because of that passion, we say things- sometimes out of anger. The comment about hating Tomlins face is something I said out of anger and frustration. I believe- and I could be wrong- that I never said the word "hate" after that.

The play at the end of the Chargers game? I'm allowed to not like that too!! We won, I know that. If we hadn't, a lot of others wouldn't have liked it either. But again, what does it matter?? This whole things is ridiculous!!! I don't like the guy. I would rather him not be our coach. That's it! I'm done with this and everyone else is too.
