Money doesn't equalize the situation out on the field unless games are fixed.

That's kind of a strange assessment about lesser players being able to outplay better players in one game situations. Since two quarterbacks don't face the same defense/adversity in a one game situation, then one can't really outplay the other. The same goes for any position. Statistics can't back up that claim. A subjective eye test is the closest you can come to determining the better of the two, but even that isn't foolproof.

And "lesser" or "greater" players are most often just that because of their situation, and a lot of luck. If we had drafted Mahomes, would he be the superstar that he is in KC? That would depend on our coaching staff and how he was utilized. If Ben hangs it up after this season and MR takes over, will Mapletron be as successful next season? Unlikely. And neither player, in a different situation, would be any less talented.

I don't follow your logic, which is fine.
I don't believe that at the beginning of all the professional sports seasons, every team has the exact same chance of winning the title. The same goes for each individual game/match/ect. (If that's even what your saying).

Apparently you missed where I said Ben deserves some blame. At no point did I say it falls entirely on Ben, but people always seem to gloss over that Ben has historically underperformed in the playoffs. You can excuse it and try to blame it on other people but I tend to think that the QB himself plays a bit of a role in the QB's struggles.

Agree with all of this. Ben's best playoff games were in January of '06.... Bengals, Colts and Broncos during XL run.

Rest of the wins, he was average... even in '08 and '10. Don't get me started on '11 thru '17.

I think Ben had over 300 yards on that Denver defense inn 2015, but Toussaint fumbled away their chance to win .

Steelers had too many key players on IR in that game. It was amazing they were in the game in the 4th quarter.... plus Ben was hobbled, IIRC. Patriots would have wiped them out the following week, had Steelers won. Brady would have 7 rings instead of 6.
