I look at this a lot like the Andy Reid times in Philly, although I'd argue he was way more successful, just didn't have a ring. He would get bounced in NFCCG's not the first round.

They didn't get it correct right away with Chip Kelly then Pederson and now Sirianni, but guess what they got. 2 Championships!

Perhaps the most refreshing aspect of this whole revelation is that the next HC will never face the wrath of this MB with "Yeah but, he did it with _______'s players"!

 

Let's be honest, it's a bittersweet time. We were entertained by Tomlin's teams over the two decades. Maybe not always optimistic about a postseason run but also never feeling like they were headed for a Jets/Browns kinda season regardless of what the roster looked like.

I can't wait for the next Super Bowl and listening to the "new coach" naysayers tell us that he won the Super Bowl with Tomlin's players.
