    What is your gut feel

Is this truly just coach Tomlin stepping down

Or was some or all of this coming from Mr Rooney

I hope that Art can hold on and be patient. Don't screw up a rebuild trying to do everything at once because the draft is at home.

I bet he didn't want to hang around for a rebuild.

Won't be surprised if it's not someone on this list. Or even someone we've heard about. Tomlin came out of nowhere. I don't think Cowher was well known either.

You do have to wonder how much something like this would have meant to him.

It is an attractive opening if ownership is willing to give a new regime 3-5 years.
If not, then anyone with another offer might think twice.

There is no QB. There is no path to a QB beside down year(s). Without the QB....you're going to get fired. Ask Stefanski. He did everything else right.

I'm sure some stat-head on here will figure it out, but when was the last time a single division saw 75% of it's HC's fired within 2 weeks time? Guessing never?

Yup, I know... but still. 75% gone. Seems unprecedented. If not, at least eye-opening what it says about the current state of the AFC North.

It was time. I hope our next HC is still a Defensive minded coach.
Whomever it is I will root for them just like I rooted for the last 3. I wasn't around before anymore.

I think Ravens jumped the gun, and may regret it. We shall see.

True but it can change very quick.....Like the chiefs had no QB when Andy Reid take the job before 2013(not even Alex Smith)same for the current Bills before 2017.The ravens had no QB before 2008 when Harbaugh take the job

Very rare the opening job are perfect. This is always a challenge

Hard to say, but I think they were suffering the same thing we were - his message was growing tired.

Wouldn't it be something if MT wound up HC over there?

I hope not. I want him to do what our last 3 HCs did. Stay away from coaching again. I never had to root against any of our former HCs, and I'm glad not to.

Oh please please please let this be the case!!!

I knew it would never happen, but I wanted to trade him for the last 3 years now instead of walking and The franchise is left empty handed.

So, if we get some compensation helps.
