To be fair, Charlie was a place kicker… And his holder was an Ahole.

"I think we need to be better on the offensive line," Rooney said. "Those guys got better as the season went on. There's no denying that. We'll assess where we are. If there are places we can make improvements, we will."

Hiring Munchak is a place they can make improvement

Does anyone know how long Meyers contract is? I think they normally do 2 year contracts which would mean his is up and a good chance Smith will bring in his own Oline coach.

Meyers has been decent but the slow starts two years in a row is rough. Munch would definitely be an upgrade.

Also, finding a center and a RT would be an improvement

The line made great progress both seasons, but you are right. It took them way too long to get there. I remember stories about players struggling to adapt to Meyers' approach in 2022. I imagine the same thing happened to the Seumalo, who seemed to have problems early on, but was kicking ass by the end of the season.

In May of last year, Munchak told Ron Cook and Joe Starkey that “the hardest thing I ever did was leave (the Steelers).”

    First thing
When you have an established OL you can plug anyone in and they will do well. Not so much when you have a bunch of nobody’s.

    Second thing
    Hmmmm

That was the point of my post to the other person. I could just as easily say the Steelers pay their coaches well.
No one knows for sure so stop making **** up.

They apparently pay well enough to hire them and retain them

    Supply and demand
