Arizona requesting second interview... Really hope he stays, but don't blame him if he goes.

Interview him for the Steelers HC position. Make him stay by putting him in charge. This team needs a real leader. I think Munchak could be that guy. Our current head cheerleader/one of the boys time is up.

Agree to a point but that probably isn’t happening!I just don’t see Art Rooneyll getting rid of every coach after a 13-3 season, with the one and done!Tomlin hasn’t done enough with the talent he has had lately but is second in wins for a head coach in his first 10 years just one behind Don Shula. Lake,Porter, and Butler yes.Throw Haley in there also as our offense isn’t the problem but could be much more efficient with the talent we have on that side of the ball.Munchak and Eagles QB coach John De Filippo are top candidates for the Cardinals HC position as of now.If Munchak doesn’t get the job we promote him to OC and keep Tomlin for that small two year window with Ben at the helm for the trophy! We have to keep Munchak if he’s still with us as he is so valuable to this team in my opinion!!

Haha, imagine this board if they fired Tomlin, replace him with Munchak and he went 7-9 for 3yrs. There'd be post longing for the good days of Tomlin, just like there are for Cowher now.

I dont think Munch as HC is an absurd idea as the idea that theyd fire Tomlin.

Munch didnt have nearly the talent at Tennessee so I think thats an unfair criticism.

If you think about Munchs strengths, being a tactician and attention to detail and think about our lack of ability to tackle consistently and other areas, I think Munch would do very well as HC of this team.

    But they arent firing Tomlin.

But Munch was going to be retained as their head coach if he would fire his assistant coaches, he refused to fire them so he was fired, it had nothing to do with his coaching record, that's been well documented and if the titans rehired him for the opening there now it wouldnt surprise me...........

Have a feeling Ben was all smiles in the postgame interview (and was allegedly telling teammates he wanted 3+ yrs) because his nemesis Haley is finally headed out and either Arians, Fichter or Munch is incoming as OC... Which would also explain him declining the 2nd interview.

Nice Munch. I would guess that working in a winning camp.... beats the scrutiny for working for these perennial loser teams. Give the man a new title and a few more dollars, he's done a great job with the line.

I was thinking this morning that O Line and Receivers have been outstanding last few years.

    Build around those 2 coaches.

Munch is 57, maybe he didn't want to get back into the craziness that it is being an NFL head coach.
But, none the less, I'm very happy with what he has done with our offensive line and that he is staying.

Very interesting sound bite in that interview. One of them said they know Munch wants to be a HC again. You turn down a chance at a HC position to remain a line coach or a even just a bump to OC? Hmmm. I'll just leave that thought hanging there.

I'm not gonna read too much into this but it is interesting that he turned it down. I guess he already has been a HC before and the Cardinals future does not appear bright.

Mann is retiring, so that spot will need to be filled. Maybe Ward gets a shot.
