Grimm was interested in it last year and Tomlin said no thank you but the article says that Tomlin also settled for Bicknell and that he was way down our list but a bunch of other coaches turned it down. I wonder why he said no to Grimm?

I wonder why "a bunch" of other coaches would turn it down? Any more info on this? Personalities? Organizational reasons?

Well according to the buzz on the street. Franklin is now the top candidate for the PSU job. So maybe the lions for Munchack. I agree it is unlikely that he accepts a demotion back to a position coach but really I don't know if he has any business being a coordinator. This and his lack of college experience seemed to be the knock on him during his PSU interviews. If he doesn't land a HC job somewhere and isn't looking to retire he may have to step back to position coach.

Except for Singletary, who is really an anomaly, none of those guys took positional coaching jobs after being fired from a NFL head coaching job that I'm aware of. I'm not saying it doesn't ever happen, but it's not the norm.

John McLain has changed a lot since the first Die Hard. He has not aged well at all.

Shaun Sarret is going to be the first person interviewed for the job and Bouchette is reporting that it will be him. He was credited for the turn around in the oline this year and if that is true then I welcome this move as the line played a lot better then it had in a long time.
