Mike Mayock

Was just watching the Dolphins-Eagles game, and it reminded me how little Mike Mayock is used as an announcer.

At one point he was doing Thursday night games and of course was doing Notre Dame games.

I only ever see him doing preseason games now. Being from Philly maybe he does some local broadcasting for the Eagles?

I always thought he was one of the best Color announcers because he is one of the most knowledgeable. He has an encyclopedia like mind when it comes to the players.

I wonder if his refusal to use social media (up until last year) had anything to do with it. I'd hope not, but I do wonder why someone who is good and knowledgeable doesn't have more of a presence in broadcasting.
