He's counting down the days until free agency starts, and he gets a big offer, I prefer for the Steelers to re-sign Sutton anyway .

Yeah it will be sad to see him go, he will probably get an offer the Steelers can’t match.

He will be 27 in a few days, this is likely his only shot to get a big multi year contract so he has to cash in. I hope he lands in a good spot.

    If he's not a Steeler. Well F....him.
Hope he gets paid. I never begrudge a man his money, but if he's not a Steeler, I hope the team he goes 2 Sucks...with a capital S

i got no problem with Hilton, Conner, JuJu getting paid somewhere else...and I'll still wish them well when they play unless it's against us...

But if they go to the Brownies, Ratbirds Bungals or Cheatriots...then I will have to hate them..sorry ..it's the rules....

almost included The CowGirls and the Raiders but the statute of limitation has ended with them since they suck for so long..

I wish him well I'd love to have him back but not at some unrealistic price. He will get paid by someone and most likely for much more than we would of offered. I liked the way he played , I always thought he was like 5 10 185 and played like he was 6 1 210 . Hilton was a fearless tackler who closed on a ball carrier with reckless abandon and was a great blitz option. I am sure he will make enough to enjoy his life after football.

I hate that he will be a former Steeler but at the same time I am excited that another former Steeler Kameron Kelly has just signed with my local CFL team the Tiger-Cats. Looking forward to seeing what he can do.

    They come they go.

I will wish Hilton the best no matter where he goes. He was a good Steeler. I hope for his sake he gets his money, and gets to play for a contender.

Start your countdown, burn a bridge.

Unless it’s a strategic move to get the bidding up.

He was a good player for us and will be missed. I think they are expecting some type of low price from sutton and I think they are wrong. I expect he will get some interest as well. They should have made a move on hilton a year or two ago. A guy I didn't realise we had was Trevor Williams. He may be in the mix with Pierre and layne. He started for a couple of years for the chargers.

I like Mike Hilton but if that tweet indicates how he truly feels then F him. Don't let the door hit you in the a$$ on the way out. Hope you sign with the JETS like Bell did.

If he plays well with any AFC team, that is against us, sort of, i.e. PO seeding if we somehow get back in the running. There is no Statute limiting anything on the Girls.

If they do well, doesn’t that figure into the comp formula?

Buckle your seatbelts, it's going to be a rocky offseason. Cap coming in close to $180M, Hilton is the first of many to leave while they keep the ancient QB and try to convince the fans they're serious Super Bowl contenders.

26 players gone. 11 million over the cap. thats with just 51 players counting, add them in even at a minimum and its 13 mil. over the cap. we have 9 million in dead money right now. we got ben back though.

we have signed avante collins, trey edmunds, dwayne haskins. these are our big signings so far. this we will keep this guy or that guy or pick up a FA center starter or sign sutton stuff just doesn't add up.

Hilton did play well for us. Many times people have said "he has a football player mentality" that's more then you can say about other CB's we had. Wish him well.

    Oh Puh-leeze.

I don't blame him. He can go to an organization that is not wasting time and money on over-the-hill vets taking up way too much cap space.

What's sad is his self arrogant tweet. He should be humble about the FA opportunity instead of coming off as a greedy deserve it all JO.
