The 4 year deal for Mike Adams is expected to total out at around $3.6 million or so

I wonder if he really did forego his signing bonus as he offered to do when he met with KC and MT before the draft?

 

Is it just me or or are the rookies signing much quicker this year then in the past? We usually don't get our guys under contract til mid-July. Must be due to the new CBA.

Since the rookie salary cap went into effect the need for agents to have long drawn out negotiations is over. They can only get x amount of dollars for their player so the process a lot quicker.

 

Probably the only common sense thing that has been put in effect by the commish

 

For those wondering, he did not defer the signing bonus like he offered the Steelers in their famous meeting.

I'm sure it was more the Steelers didn't ask him to, than him going back on his word... just saying.
