The chiefs lost Conley and Kelce last night. Kelce could play but with his concussion history I bet he sits. They also lost their starting SS last night b

How sad is it that we have to start relying on key injuries to the opposing team to feel like we have a chance?

All I'm gonna say is the Chiefs are an exciting group to watch they don't seem to miss a beat, but they are beatable any given Sunday!!! We actually match up well with them if we bring our A game and we beat them last year so they will have a sour taste In their mouth to get revenge. Andy Reid will have them ready you can beat on that!!!! If the real Steelers team shows up it gonna be one hellava game I can't wait. GO Steelers.

None of that matters when their running game will eat us alive.

None of it matters unless Ben remembers how to play football or if Tomlin is willing to bench him for Laundry.

Won't surprise me if the Steelers win big this weekend. Just need a decent gameplan. Chiefs are due for a loss.

Chiefs are due, have some injuries so it will all play in to why the Steelers beat them and set up a playoff rematch that their fans will claim we can win because they will be at full strength

Well, in that case, the game plan will be to run.

Another 2 or 3 safety injuries, and their safety play could get to the Sean Davis level - ooohhh, did I just say that?

I know Jack but on the other hand, don't recall the Pats complaining when #26 went down last year or every time they beat us when Ben sat out. All part of parity and karma. In golf - called a handicap; in football - called an answer to our prayers. :beg: Steelers can use all the help they can get - whether divine intervention or just silly luck.

Well we are gonna need about 40 more injuries before we can think we have a chance.......sorry had to go there after yesterday's performance.

Yeah, I don't disagree, but the Pats had held 26 in check up until the time he went out with injury. And overall the Pats D has always had Ben's number with very few exceptions.

How do we match up well?

Steelers can't stop the run..........KC has Hunt

Ben can't hit open guys........KC is a INT machine

    Steelers score FG's.............KC scores TD's

That is 3 pretty bad match ups right there, no????

For what it's worth - Steelers beat KC twice last year home and away (6 TD's in one and 6 FG's in the other) - maybe it's just one of those strange match-up things that can't be explained. We've had similar reverse luck with the Jags. So if the Steelers, and more importantly BB, go into next weeks game believing they're playing their mulligan shot and the worse game ever conceived is now out of their collective systems, then they should romp all over the Chefs and leave that home crowd sizzling hot like a good ole KC BBQ. This feels so much better than peeing and moaning, I just need to start believing my own drivel.

Lol yeah I hear ya a lot of doom and gloom here but I think we all have a pretty good reason for that. As far as beating them twice, that was last year we are both different teams and apparently both heading in different directions. When you compare these two team it is not a good match up, far from it. just saying......like you I hope to start getting the mojo back.

I have two different answers for this as this goes two different ways.

My heart feels that it is pathetic to hope to win in such circumstances when teams are not at their best. That is not the Pittsburgh Steelers I grew up with... at least not in totality.

My intuition however states that this is accounting for all 32 teams. Even Patriots fans would have a better time feeling players like Cameron Heyward and Ryan Shazier would be inactive.

Dont live in the past!!! The Jacksonville game is hindsight. So it that to say you have no faith that The Steelers will rise to the occasion and beat the Chiefs they did it last year. And if you read my post i did say if the Steelers bring their A game anything is posdible. Go Steelers!!!!

Well I hope to share your optimism, however after 5 games 5 very poorly played games I will have to see it to believe they even have an A game. With that said I will be sitting scream for our Steelers this Sunday and every week after.:herewego:
