Here's what I gather from the Miami depth chart, the Miami Herald articles and the injury reports:

    Miami Offense:

LT Branden Albert-missed last game due to illness but practicing this week. injured knee in week 10 and missed the rest of last season

Branden Albert (OT) -- The front office signed Albert to a five-year, $47 million deal last offseason and it paid off big time with his superb skills as a pass protector. His importance to the team was only further magnified by his absence once he was lost to injury. With him, the team allowed just two and a half sacks a game. That average went up by a full sack after he was injured. As integral to the offense as Tannehill, the Dolphins must pray that he will be ready to play by the season opener -- although that would be a best-case scenario for the 30-year-old recovering from a torn ACL and MCL.

LG Laremy Tunsil (backup Dallas Thomas started last week and cut by Miami yesterday)- Tunsil was out last week with injury but questionable against Pitt. former steeler G Kraig Urbik is a backup

C Mike Pouncey-missed the first four weeks recovering from hip surgery

Mike Pouncey (C, OG) -- Picking up right where he left off in 2013, Pouncey made a successful transition over to right guard once he was healthy and was named to his second consecutive Pro Bowl. The Dolphins will surely move him back to his more familiar position at center with the hopes that there is some stability in 2015. Along with Albert and James, his presence in the middle will anchor the o-line and provide steadiness in a critical position

RG Jermon Bushrod (backup Billy Turner started last week and was cut by Miami yesterday and signed by Ravens today)

    RT Ja'Wan James

Ja'Wuan James (OT) -- Hickey's first draft choice had a successful rookie season overall. He wasn't nearly as effective at left tackle in place of Albert in the final seven games of the season but he may have to start the 2015 season at that position if Albert isn't ready. Big things are expected of James in his second year as he continues to develop.

TE Jordan Cameron- in concussion protocol and will not play against the Steelers

QB Ryan Tannehill-answering questions from the press on how long until he gets replaced as starting QB

RB Arian Foster-groin and hamstring injuries and was evasive when asked if he'll play against Pitt. listed as gametime decision however Miami cut RB Isaiah Pead yesterday so I think that means they believe Foster will play. foster had an Achilles injury last season, his backup has knee issues.

WR Jarvis Landry-averaging about 7 catches per game and about 85 yards per game. one TD in five games so far this year. playing thru a shoulder ailment.

WR DeVante Parker-averaging about 3 catches per game and about 50 yards per game and one TD for the season. inactive for Miami's first game, played thru hamstring ailment last game

    MIAMI defense:

DE Cameron Wake- mostly passing downs player. one sack and one forced fumble this year.

DT Ndamukong Suh- as coach Kevin Spencer would say, "This guy is a problem". 21 tackles and 2.5 sacks this year. Pro bowl year.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ix7GwEyjfAw here's a youtube of Suh ripping RB Alfred Morris' helmet off after the play.

DT Jordan Phillips- 0.5 sacks this year, no forced fumbles

DE Mario Williams- in concussion protocol earlier this year. 31 years old.

LB Donald Butler-signed after week 1, no sacks or forced fumbles

LB Jelani Jenkins-missed last week with groin injury, no sacks no forced fumbles

CB ByronMaxwell-benched in week 4 because of poor coverage play in weeks 1-3. no sacks two forced fumbles

CB Xavian Howard- still weeks away from returning from knee injury last week

S Isa Abdul-Quddus-made move to free safety when stuck behind Jones at SS, but with Jones injured, we might see Abdul-Quddus. I got the impression reading CBSsport review that if Abdul-Quddus is starting for you, you need to go out and sign another safety.

S Reshad Jones-after Suh, Jones is probably Miami's best defender. But suffered a groin injury this week and won't practice at all this week. GameTime decision

Kicker is Andrew Franks. had a FG blocked against Seattle. made his other 3. made the few PATs they attempted. paper said he was average.

Punter is Matt Darr. punts a lot. has a 48 yard average. put 12 inside the 20. only two touchbacks.

Punt and kick returner is Jakeem Grant. returned one punt for a TD. kick return average 26 yards. punt return average 14 yards.

The coaching staff is all new this year and I don't recognize anybody. Wouldn't surprise me if they all are fired this year too.

You can write off any team that starts 1-4. only one team in the last 40 years started 1-4 and made the playoffs (1976 Pittsburgh Steelers)

This game worries me more than the Jets game.

Miami runs the same defensive front scheme as Philly. That Wide 9 gives the Steelers fits.

We see it every time they play one of those teams. Philly shouldn't have beaten them with Vick and this year with a rookie QB that bad. Miami beat them in the snow in Pittsburgh.

Only saving grace is they actually play pretty good in Miami.

I think we will be okay. Their front is a mess and we should get to the qb. I think are D really shines in this game. So whether or not our offense blows the doors off I think we got this. As far as their D goes we did not have the one the only lev Bell in that game. That completely change the check down option and I think AB is going to light her up in his home state.

I just hope we can recreate the kumbaya from a couple years ago where the team was stuck in the hotel room due to storms and went on to win the super bowl. Did Hurricane Matthew blow itself out?

No road win in the NFL is easy. I just hope the Steelers don't look past them. Getting to the bye week with at least a 5-2 record is a must. Hopefully it's 6-1.

Do not worry as much. David DeCastro and Ramon Foster will be good enough to handle Ndamukong and Jordan. Alejandro and Chris should be capable of handing Mario and Cameron; both underachieving I may add.

This all leaves Kiko by himself. All the more reason Le'Veon and Jesse should or will go off.

    Nice thread Nor.....

While Miami does run a wide 9 4-3 like Philly does they don't have the horses with the exception of Suh.

Suh will be a problem but I believe our OL can deal with the rest ok. Even Mario and wake, I just don't think they have the speed to be effective wide 9 DEs...

Problem is the Steelers has a tendency to play down to their competition..... Still we should win this game.

I still have bitter feelings about Miami from 2013. This is a gimme on paper, but..... so were the Ravens twice last year.... and so were the Dolphins playing in December 2013 in the snow.

Will they even have enough players for this game. We should win and the 3 Cb's stats should be off the charts

I saw a power rankings where the Dolphins are next to last.

Also notice we are over a TD favorite even though we are the away team.

Dolphins will probably fight like hell for pride`s sake, but I think we win anyway.

Noticed Bungles are over a TD underdog at NE. My gut says the Bungles will fight like hell too, but I think they lose a close one.

They always do. I'm going to the game and brought down only black jerseys. If they wear the whites I will leave the stadium as soon as I see them. I wish there was a way to find this out ahead of the games.

The 2013 Miami team was better than the 2016 team.

The 2016 Steelers team is better than the 2013 team.

Indeed. All the more reason history is not going to repeat itself.

Pittsburgh's secondary is much better than it was in 2013. This unit will hold up much better than their 2013 counterpart.

One thing the Steelers defense needs to key on is Tannehill running up the middle, the Dolphins O-line is a mess they cut 2 starters this week.

I heard the same thing about how we'd lose to the inferior Jets.

As far as Miami running the same D as Philly, in scheme only, they lack the personnel Philly has.

Pretty much the entire 2016 roster is superior to the 2013 team. That team was so devoid of talent it's ridiculous. It's really amazing that Tomlin got the team together to finish that season 6-2 to get to 8-8 on the year and a Succop shank away from a playoff berth.

Bell was a rookie, our OL was trash with Adams starting at T, a young Beachum thrown to the fire. DD's 2nd season (missed basically the entire rookie season to injury so it was his first real PT), Velasco at C because DD Kamikaze'd Pouncey's knee in the opener. We had just lost Wallace and we're about to lose a struggling Sanders. Jericho freaking Cotchery had a prominent role in the offense lol our secondary was old on the back end and weak on the outside. The OLB situation was getting bad and we werent looking better on the inside. Not to mention Kiesel and Casy being old and Heyward just starting to get a starting role.

To sum it up... that was a freaking bad football team. This year's team is a far cry from that disaster.

Not to rain on any parades here... BUT

It doesn't matter that the '13 squad was less talented than the current team. This current team lost badly and totally quit vs. the Eagles. That was the worst Steelers loss since 1989. The '13 team lost some games badly... but nowhere near the caliber of loss that the Eagles handed the Steelers. Think about that for a second. We've had some horrific 6-10 teams in the Cowher years, but those teams never lost as bad.. and totally quit like the Steelers did vs. the Eagles.

Which team will show up vs. Miami on Sunday? The juggernaut who beat the Chiefs soundly or the quitters who slacked and loafed through the entire game vs. the Eagles?

Disclaimer: IF the Steelers beat the Patriots next week... I'll STFU about the Eagles game.

Steelers didn't quit against Philly, they just got their asses kicked.

Ben even addressed the starters being in at the end of the game, he said we don't quit.

People forget that was still a game at halftime, 13-3, it wasn't until the 3rd qtr when they got blown out, yielding 21 points that it became out of reach.
