I guess Benny Snell is suppose to play, almost forgot that he was still on the roster.

He better ball out, he might not make the 53 man. Which is kind of hard to imagine, because he was basically the starter when Connor was down last year.

If Harris doesn't stay healthy in 2021.... we are doomed. Harris is our only hope to combat the playoff ineptitude we have witnessed since the AFC Championship vs Patriots.

Your comprehension skills are lacking which is not surprising with your many misleading thread titles but no, no one said he had to play all four games and I even replied to you earlier that I doubt he plays the fourth game.

Tomlin was a 100% right and so were everyone who said it was smart to get him real game experience. It’s football, players get hurt, they could lose Harris the very first game of the season, they could lose him in practice today but you run around “stop, don’t play him, he may get hurt, stop it :cry:stop it  stop it

Telling on myself that I was right? Why yes, I was. Not sure what you were going for here, I’ve seen you say this too. You aren’t very consistent are you.

    Let me check the receipts...

So you DO think Tomlin is making a mistake by not playing him Friday. Thanks for the clarification. I happen to think Tomlin is making the right move.

Let’s check the most recent receipt. Check the time stamp, before todays decision. I have no issues if he got or didnt get snaps in the 4th game but recognized he probably wouldn’t after having thought about it. My other post was just a strong reaction to your crybaby routine, gets tiresome, how are you not embarrassed acting like that.

The first aspect we can agree on; one of the few times we have ever agreed although saying doomed is quite a large casting of how many losses that would entail to say the least. The second aspect of your statement has too many fallacies to count as each game had a major reason.

    Hey Blast.

This, in big part, is what my Thread was about.

    Can't Live in a Bubble | TheSteelersFans

Where do we draw the line? First, its do not play in preseason games; which again I think is a big mistake for most players. Now, lets take it a step further. Should we pick and choose "Practice"? Maybe Chase Claypool should not have practiced the other day (see link below). Maybe Chase should just play, and practice, in the playoffs. If we make it that far. The same for Ben. This is Bull-Dung.

    Chase Claypool Injured in Practice

I have had it with of all of the second guessing around here and in the media. Playing sports comes with risk; especially Football. This is the same old redundant conversation fans have every season. No one has a crystal ball. The coaching staff makes the most informative decisions possible. Outcomes, for the most part are unforeseeable. I mean if a Running Back has an ankle sprain, depending on the severity, then sure sit him out of practice and whatever amount of games necessary. If he can play through it, then so be it. It may prolong the healing time but again if he can play and NOT be a detriment to the team then get out there and play.

Players will tell you, and we hear it all the time:

"I played most of the season hurt. I figured that I would rest up and heal once the season was over."

    In more severe cases:

"I will get the surgery once the season is over."

If they can limp their rear-ends onto the field, without diminishing the team's chances for victory, then yes they should play. Yes, not in preseason so much but the regular season for sure. Sports, in part, are about sacrifice and "Going All Out".

Most players, I would bet, DO NOT go through an entire season without some type of "hurt".

And yes, the players DO HAVE TO practice and yes play in "meaningless" pre-season games as some around here refer to them as being. It is also when you become overly-cautious and start second guessing one's every move that the chances of something bad happening go up.

Personally, I have played numerous times in my competitive days when I was "hurt". It is a "judgement call" as to what the body is going to allow you to do.

In the case of Football, then otherwise go play Croquet.

Personally, I think Harbaugh should be trying to get his team prepared at all costs. Schedule a scrimmage with the guards (longest yard reference). Toughen them up by playing on concrete. Make them faster by surgically removing parts that aren't absolutely necessary. For me, I simply don't think he's doing enough.

Yep. Looked like the same hit that knocked Bell out in the 2014 finale.

You don't know who Harbaugh and Dobbins are, or are you seeking attention again?
