Memo to Najee Harris

the guys at practice are not trying to make the team either? panthers players just hit harder then our guys trying to make the team? why even play it?

I hate to compare but this is the difference between Tomlin and other coaches. Parsells or Belicheck would sit him down the first day and explain CLEARLY we don’t play like that here son, we have invested too much into you and we need you the whole year. The next time you do this you will sit, period. Problem solved.

That's a bad injury it ruins some players careers.

 

That just breaks my heart. I hate that. It doesn't mean we put them in dresses, because injuries will happen. But damn.

By the 2nd half of the Bills game he'd have just as many. Of course he'd probably put on his uniform backwards, forget his pads, and fly to the wrong city since he didn't play in preseason.

 

None of us are, but we all comment. You're not qualified to tell TJ Watt what's best for him or frankly, to make any of the commentary on the game that you make.

My criticisms of Tomlin having the Steelers unprepared relate to poor schemes and game plans and overconfident teams against poor teams.

 

Can’t be an NFL RB and play it safe. He needs to do what he needs to do for every yard. His O-line won’t be much help.

 

So it was a bad decision to play Etienne in the preseason, right?

 

I agree with it opens the door to potentially getting injured more. However if it was done during a regular season/playoff game and he succeeded, I bet everyone would be saying, "omg did you see that, that's a ESPN highlight".

 

Najee does it differently. He looks for the defenders helmet first, and makes sure that he can reach out and limit their approach when he goes up. He always has a hand on the helmet if hes not going over
