with the way receivers are allowed to run pick plays in the nfl, zone coverage is not a bad thing. when you man up against it, the chances of bigger plays is easier to achieve. that's the hard part to coach and then transfer to play on the field.

 

True that , but a good jam kills the pick. It's all about timing. So once again it comes back to 1 on 1 . Does the WR win the LOS or the DB. It takes talent coupled with lots of hard work to win the LOS.Sadly to say we are way short on the talent end.
