There are only 2 contenders, the rest are pretenders, go Chiefs.

You are right about the Bills. They played the cheats like I haven’t seen a D since the jags did that to them 2 years ago in the afc championship. If the Bills had an offense they would’ve blown those mass holes out. But it’s brady so I guess he has to win somehow even though he sucked.

There’s only been 4 games.... it’s way too soon to say anyone is mediocre, no one is in mid season form yet. Us winning 1 game isn’t going to mean much when KC & Cheats looming. We can’t beat cheats and KC is playing on another dimension

I have blind loyalty to the steelers and an irrational NEED to see them win every game they play. If they lose My entire week is ruined. It might be a mental illness?

I should add , I’ve not watched a single game that doesn’t involve the steelers. Would rather watch baseball... ride my bike, run errands, chores, read, or do just about anything else then watch poorly officiated infomercials .

He's not coming back here, even if the Steelers offered him HC I'd imagine.

I'd say the Steelers are not just like those teams, the Steelers are a step down.

Unlike the NBA, thank God, there is waaaaaay too much that can happen between now and the AFCCG to call it the Chiefs and Pats just yet.

This is true, my Stepson wanted to play wide receiver a few years ago until his mother got advice from somebody that he shouldn't do it and will get hurt. There are probably many scenarios across the country like this.

Well the Steelers play 5 of their next 6 games between now and November 14th at Heinz Field. They have home games in that stretch with the Dolphins who stink and the Colts who lost at home to the Raiders yesterday along with these two games with the Bengals and Ravens this week. So there are still a ton of winnable games coming up on this schedule that if the Steelers win some of these games they can get right back in this division race. We will know a lot more about where this team is in about 6 days after these two home games with the both the Bengals and Ravens are completed this week.

    AFC mediocre? I disagree.

The top of the NFC is filled with question marks:

    9ers
    Saints
    Packers
    Cowboys
    Bears

None of those teams are better than the Chiefs or the Pats.

I so get that!! I don't follow the NBA at all but you know who is going to win Championship at start of season. Only thing that stops that is major injuries which I think happened to GSW or they would have beat Toronto.

IMHO Hockey is the best come playoff time. No clear cut favorite. The St. Louis Blues were on nobodies radar and they hoisted the Cup. MLB is always a high team salary team. LA and NY are 200 million + teams, maybe Houston or St.Louis can sneak in WS at a cool 160 million + teams.

Bears defense is nasty. But I think their offense holds them back.
Saints are good, even without Brees, if Brees comes back and plays well look out
Packers, I'm not sold yet. But, with Rodgers anything can happen
Cowboys, I think are good, but a have a ways to go.
49ers.. I think are good but how healthy can Jimmy G stay. If he gets hit like he did against the Steelers, he's going to get hurt again.

except for Von Miller. Wish he was a Steeler. Watt + Miller would be stellar.

Sure, but they are probably all better right now than the 3rd best team in the AFC. Add Eagles, Rams and Seahawks and you have 8 NFC teams that could reasonably be the 3rd - 10th best teams in the NFL right now. Heck, the Lions and Vikings may be better than the 4th or 5th best AFC team.
