Before diving into Pickens, we got to see the maturity in how Mahomes and Kelce handle losing the past few weeks. Mahomes lacks decent receivers, but he's missing them when they are wide open. Mahomes had his drama with the offense offsides in a loss and then he took his beatdown by the Raiders defense out on his OL on the sidelines. Kelce dropped an easy pass and later in game he slammed his helmet into the turf causing Reid to have his helmet grabbed and held onto it until he talked to Kelce.

As for Pickens, even though I believe he was the best WR in 2022 draft, the Steelers at this point need to rebuild their OL and aging defense. This off season, if Steelers choose to move on from Pickens, then should get at least a 2nd along with a possible later round pick or player. Pickens will be 24 at the end of his contact if he plays for the Steelers for two more years and he'll likely seek FA then anyway.

The only caveat is that the Steelers will not easily replace him at WR. His first year, I believe he led the NFL in contested catches. This season, he was able to make a 1000 yards in just 56 receptions, a somewhat amazing stats given he did not have many of the type passes to demonstrate his breakaway capabilities like the last game. Why he was not targeted more this season wasn't only frustrating to him.

For some comparison stats on Pickens so far this season:

    George Pickens (age 22 6-3 4.47 40) has 56 receptions for 1009 yards. Next receiver in front of him, Jaylen Waddle (age 25 5-10 4.37 40) has 72 receptions for 1014 yards. Star Ja'Marr Chase (age 23 6-0 4.38 40) has 93 receptions for 1156 yards.

I believe the only WR in the 2022 draft class ahead of Pickens in yardage is only Chris Olave (age 23 6-0 4.39 40) has 81 receptions for 1041 yards. Olive has 4 TDs and Pickens has 5 TDs.

Pickens is last in the list of 1000 yard receivers. Following him in the 400+ (almost 500) yards are DK Metcalf. George Kittle, Devante Adams, and Travis Kelce (who has same number of TDs as Pickens).

I believe Pickens is closer to Waddle, Chase and Olave speed than the official 4.47. Coming off an ACL, Pickens 'ran an unofficial 4.40 in his second 40-yard dash and a 4.43 in his first attempt. NFL.com would later post his official time at 4.47.'

    Happy Holidays to all

It was a cold winter day in January, whilst reclining in my easy chair in my dirty wifebeater and drinking a can of bud. I was in the ****. The wife had just accused me of ogling the neighbor's wife, which may or may not have happened when she strutted by in those yoga pants, and I was angry over yet another subpar showing by my team. And it was in that moment I thought of Terry under duress in his own easy chair, and I knew I had found my avatar.

This is the best post! 100% how I live my life and why I loved Jack, Hines, Rod, and now Warren and can't stand Dion, Moss, Pickens, etc. You have the luxury of making more money than most will make in their lifetime and you can't even give 100% of yourself, that's being a dirt bag!

This made me think of all the media blindly defending Coach Mike T, into the non losing season abyss without even a hesitation. LOL.
