We all knew some of these LB's would be on the outside looking in. I thought we might keep an extra one than usual for Special teams purposes, but I guess when you can only dress 45 there is no use...???

I better learn who is Kion Wilson.

 

This surprised me a little too. I read somewhere he wasn't as good on ST as Kion or something to that effect. He COULD be brought back though depending what they do with Spaeth/etc. And the 5th TE Palmer...might not even be there all year...so someone might replace him too. We shall see...

 

I expect your right gp about spaeth and palmer. I did like palmer this preseason. he got better every week in the offense.

DJ may only have been kept since will Johnson hurt his hammy. he may be back at FB depending on how severe will j 's injury is. for now.

 

All I can say is that this team is starting to remind me of the teams of the 80's. I sure hope I'm wrong. McFadden was having such a great preseason and should've been a lock

Cutting McFadden was my biggest surprise. I too thought he was a lock. Carrying 5 TEs didn't help. My next biggest surprise was Devin Smith on the PS over Hawthorne. Terence G. on the PS over McFadden????

Maybe they really like Vince Williams and just maybe S. Spence is doing better than we all think.

Fangupo over Ta'amu caught me by surprise. I thought Ta'amu had lost weight and looked when in there but I guess it wasn't enough. I was hoping Moye was gonna make it but surprised they cut Brown, he looked really good.

Yeah, I was really surprised Hawthorne didn`t at least make the PS..
Must not have looked as good in camp as in college...
Also, on a side note, they Did keep Justin Brown on the PS.
Not just cut completely.
