The point that I got from the post is that you irrationally hate Tomlin, and anyone who doesn't is a "lap-sitter", butt kisser, apologist, etc., etc., etc.....
And you people jump out of the woodwork to criticize him, and even when he does a good job (against the Bills) you can't bring yourself to say so. It's always "Wait until.." or "Six years ago...." or "One time at band camp...."

More like you’re a lap-sitter jumping in on early season wins like you always do. Guarantee you disappear later in the season when things fall apart. Either that or you make excuses.

He’s right though. Some of you guys have such a hatred for Tomlin that you can’t rationally or objectively discuss anything regarding him. That’s a problem. And before you start up all your BS about me being a Tomlin apologist, I wanted him gone a couple years ago.

1st loss of the season and many on the board will return to their irrational hate of Tomlin. Tomlin is a quality coach in the league. Ultimately the games will be won or loss by the players.

Ben and the offense need to play better for this team to have a realistic opportunity to compete for the Superbowl.

The defense probably won't perform well every week.

The health of the team will be a major factor in it's ability to compete.

They did a lot more than just rotate their DL, they had TJ rushing up the middle, look at the job they did on Diggs his longest reception was 13 yards and he had no TDs.

The point was nothing they did was innovative in the slightest, and it’s telling that people feel the need to praise Tomlin for stuff like that.

Diggs is a deep ball guy like Mike Wallace was. If you’re get pressure on the QB often, you make life difficult for that type of WR

The people who aren’t fooled by the Tomlin early season success are far more rational than those who feel the need to constantly defend him despite the plethora of problems that have plagued the team for a decade

The scheme was not the reason they won lol it was the DL completely bulldozing the Bills’ OL and a big ST play

Fooled? You really think that the Rooney’s and the rest of the NFL are that dumb and you’re so smart when it comes to evaluating Head coaches?
Tomlin has his shortcomings as well as his strengths. Nothing wrong with giving him praise or criticism when warranted. But to constantly bash him and discount everything he does is just ridiculous.

    F**king Winner.
I don't even close 2 agree with everything He does.
I save that for Ben...LoL.., but seriously If You can bash a man for His mistakes ....surely You can praise Him on accomplishments.
Some should go on NBC on YouTube, and watch Phil Simms son break down how much we change the Defense for this game. If You had watched the game You may have noticed this, but He does a pretty good Break Down

Well I tried 2 post it.
    Never mind

Coming from an apparent one tricky pony mike Wallace fan this seems like rain on my wedding day

Or maybe a free ride when your team is constantly competitive. There are about 20 other teams that wish they had this consistency.
Almost like you have 10000 spoons but all you needed was a knife.

Isn't it subtle, what do you think?

I do love your first example has an exception.

Almost as if you knew you were wrong but wanted to be right.

I've seen less flips and twists on the uneven bars in the Olympics.

You know I'm correct. Steelers will never win another Super Bowl with popcorn as coach.

A win is a win and whatever was done and by whom it was initiated by, it doesn't matter. The HC is the one who is responsible for the wins and losses. He is the one in front of the microphones explaining what his team just did. The win was ugly, but it was a win and all we need to do is be less ugly than the other team. Each season is its own body of work to be evaluated separately and one game is too little a sample to determine where this bus is going down the road. From season to season, this team has trends both good and bad so I will just see if something will be different this year that makes a difference, especially post season if we are able to get there.

Liked the video so thanks for setting it up to play here.
One question though- was "Phil Simm's son" intentional credit for the not so great Chris? I thought it was a good touch.
