I'm a Seinfeld fan, but I was always more drawn to ELR.

No other Sit Com but Seinfeld had zero percent real moment. IMO greatest Sit Com ever! I've watched each show at least 30 times.

For me Seinfeld came to a complete end last Sunday when "Curb Your Enthusiasm" had it's final episode. Larry David had that run on HBO for 20 years. Kind of copied Seinfeld's last episode. Larry was on trial for aiding a woman with water as she was waiting in a voting line. Against the law:) He gets sent to jail just like Seinfeld guys did and Jerry comes in and gets him off.

Larry David and Jerry Seinfeld came up with the idea for Seinfeld while people watching and making fun of them. In the series final Larry and Jerry are in a coffee shop making fun of people and that's just how this whole money making idea came about.

I loved Seinfeld back in the day. I saw a couple of episodes of Everybody Loves Raymond and didn’t laugh once. Zzzzz.

I didn’t watch a lot. I saw maybe a season worth of each show here and there over the years.

Raymond was funny to me although I never liked his wife character. The rest were fun and made me laugh.

Seinfeld must have just flew over my head. I didn’t grow anywhere near NY so many of the references I didn’t get.

I did really enjoy Comedians in Cars getting Coffee though. Also with Seinfeld.

I've watched both. Seinfeld when I'm watching on my own. ELR with my wife because it's so relatable when you're married and have kids.

Seinfeld. If, for no other reason, there's a deli here that's at the head of a fuel dock and across the street from two boatyards. Now, the guy who owns it, won't make you a sandwich if you piss him off. I refer to him as the "Sandwich Nazi" I think he's Greek so, he has an accent. Makes a great roast beef sandwich. Just don't make him mad! "No soup for you!"

I think You hit it with this. ELR was way closer to my life, and How I grew up..than Seinfeld was. I could easily relate to ELR, or let's say way easier than Seinfeld. Although I do find both funny. I just prefer ELR.

Sorry bro. I'm with Elvis on this one. I never found Raymond funny at all. He was like Seinfeld only on valium.

Like I said before....I think it's more realistic for Me. I've actually had many many many things that has happened In ELR....Happen to My family, and Me.
It's more relatable for Me. Even down to the food they eat. Hell My Grandmother, and Grandfather was Raymond's parents. LoL

I was scrolling through the guide on the TV the other night, and we see ELR is on one of the channels every 1/2 hour. My wife says “oh, my parents like watching that show to wind down at the end of the day” (they’re in their 80’s). When I think of ELR, I think of it being the equivalent of the Golden Girls for humor.

Gotta admit. I do enjoy the Golden Girls. Sofia says some funny ****. Never understood how Rue Maclanahan was the sex kitten of the show. I'm not sure I could ever be old enough to find her remotely bangable.

Name one national holiday that Ray Romano created.

Like I said .....I'm not Jewish.....nor did I grow up right in a city....., but I did live in the suburbs, Roman Catholic, Italian mix, and I swear My Grandparents were Ray's parents. Also how many Boxers, football player, baseball players, and other sports figures did Jerry interview???

Sorry, it was a joke, just like the phantom Festivas Holiday. Lots of future movie/TV stars including Walter White got their start (or launch) appearing on Seinfeld. Apparently not for everyone but it had a huge audience.
