isn't this suisham, warren and we don't yet know about a punter's contract years? have we ever had to replace all 3 in one year? warren is getting up there. so is SS. will they try to get another couple of years out of them or move on? warren has competition in camp again, but we know how that goes? warren is still a stud LS. he makes plays on punt coverage. next year could mean we have to sign all 3 ST'ers or get new ones. warren is around a mil. a year. suishy could cost a good bit more. could we have two new punters in here next year too?

 

Let them all go. Beef up the Defense and on offense go for it on 4th down every time. Go for 2 after each TD. Put 50 on the board against every opponent.

Kickers are usually not that hard to re-sign, so if they wanted Suisham back it would be no program.

 

it's still going to cost some money. we could be looking at about 4 mil to get these 3 ST'ers back and are they worth the money at this point in their careers? remember it's next year that they are all FA's possibly. I know we have others to sign also. this 4 mil doesn't seem like a lot right now but added with say cortez and gilbert and heyward and possibly ike, beachum, ben, DHB, worilds and a couple of other players possibly it starts to add up.

 

I feel SS has performed real well for us and kickers perform well even in their 30's. It doesn't look like the wheels are falling off just yet.

I was a little surprised the Steelers Depot guys were kind of hinting we should look into replacing SS due to his kickoff distance not being too good. He is better than Jeff Reed was at kickoffs so I guess it's all relative.

Warren can leave you can find a UDFA to be a LS, Gilbert I wouldn't re-sign he will be looking to get paid Adams can play RT in 2015. I would re-sign Cortez and Heyward the salary is expected to go up significantly in the next few years Ike this is his last season and DHB he has to make the team first.
