    TRubisky is Horrible.

I've watch his play. He is not accurate enough and struggles to read defenses.

    No NO NO!

I'm sure there are nice places to live in and around Atlanta, it's just so vanilla and meh.

    Unlike this world class gem:

You call ATL vanilla but a lot of transplants from ChiTown, NYC, etc. are constantly moving here. When I moved here 36 years ago, we had about 1 million, now we have over 6.5 and growing.

You must be counting the burbs, the official city population in 2020 was under 500K. And you cited the reason for the vanilla-ness - a bunch of transplants. No local identity.

What is the most defining characteristic of Atlanta? The top three?

Unlike NYC, Chi and LA, Atlanta is a newby. Yes, the city's population is around 500K but the Metro is approaching 7 million.

Because of the various jurisdictions, it is difficult to for me to name the characteristics. It is the Big City of the South, and it depends on the part that you live in. Stone Mountain Park is the draw in my area. It is multicultural and pretty diverse because of the transplants. But the Big Three were once cities of transplants too.

Ryan will be 37 next yr. Hr is under contract until 2024 and has a monstrous cap hit. His statistics are still decent, but he’s clearly past his prime.

Acquiring Matt Ryan would be like getting the 2019 version of Ben. And we’ll get to watch QB decline all over again.

Gronk. Brady talked him out of retirement to win the SB.

Yes. Tell me who came to that team last year, that, let's say Tampa Bay traded for Garroppolo, or kept Winston, that was the player who still makes that Super Bowl happen. I'm not saying Brady did it alone, but we also need to realize that AB and Gronk went there due to Brady, also. No Brady, no Tampa Bay Super Bowl.

And the reason I'm thinking about this in the context of Steelers/ Rodgers, is it would be interesting to see who comes along. Randall Cobb, most obviously I would think.

I think the Steelers situation next year would be very comparable to Brady/ Bucs situation. Offensive weapons, top 10 defense, a players coach. I'm not sure how the o-line could impact it, though. How was Bucs o-line Winston's last year?

It may be wishful thinking, but I'm allowed to dream, dammit, STD!!!!:hehehe::clapping::shrug:

And he got AB there, also. But see my response to STD. That doesnt happen with any other QB, I think.

That's fine My Friend. I was just saying...I believe they had 10 pro bowl players if You count Offensive, and Defense added 2 the Buccaneers that Year.
    I didn't Mean 2 sound rude.

Agree that Tampa doesn't get a SB without Brady but he specifically wanted Gronk on the team.

    Look at who Gronk leapfrogged:
Brate, probowl material with a good qb
OJ Howard, a top pick for them getting pine time because of Brate & Gronk

Gronk shouldn't be underestimated concerning Brady's success. Brady knows it.

No worries. Got me thinking about it. Was it 10 players already there, or 10 NEW pro bowlers? Other than the big 3 (TB, Gronk and AB), I only remember them signing a lineman.

You are leaving out L. McCoy, and L. Fournette.
I just Looked they Had 22 players on the Roster that wasn't there the Year before. Of course they weren't all pro bowlers , but that still is a way difference than One Man

Not true. As a young kid on a bad team with a terrible offensive scheme he did this:

    Year - % - Yards - TD/I - Rating
    2018 66.6 3,223 24/12 95.4
    2019 63.2 3,138 17/10 83.0
    2020 67.0 2,055 16/8 93.5

That doesn't count the rushing ability.

Again, not saying I want him or that he's the answer. I'm saying he, like Tannehill/Darnold/others, might be good with a fresh start after a few years of failing and sitting.

We may be in purgatory until we get a QB, but we'll be in Hell until we get an OL.
