Very debatable if Ryan is an upgrade over Ben. He would have all the same issues and struggles in my opinion

No thanks. If we're going to get a stop gap qb I'd rather go with a younger one like Trubisky or Daniel Jones

Why would the Giants give up Jones? He is actually playing very well right now.

Can we stop with the whole let's trade for a QB! Matt Ryan is 36 years old!! You only trade for a old QB is that is the one piece of the puzzle missing for a championship!! This makes absolutely no sense what so ever!

I guess Ben is almost as good a passer as Brady when he's playing in heavy rain?

The Steelers are locked into this QB situation for this year. They will go with Ben unless he gets hurt. If Ben gets hurt they will go with Mason. If Mason completely sh!ts the bed they will go with Haskins.

Matt Ryan may very well be better than all three of our guys, but the Steelers ain't trading for him.

Who is to say Ben doesn't come back next year? It is far more likely that Ben comes back than it is the Steelers signing Rodgers or Ryan IMO. It sucks to say that, but its true.

If this Front office (Art) allows Ben to come back for another year. You are gonna see puch back from the fans the linkes the steelers organization has never seen before. Ben should already be telling them he's done after this year. Anything else is highly unacceptable!

People might laugh at Trubisky but he's the top of my reclamation list. He's mobile and has a strong arm. Considering how terrible Nagy is in Chicago, and the year Trubisky is getting learning behind Allen, the kid could still turn out to be productive. For a cheap deal I'd be interested (though Colbert certainly has more data/film than I do, so I trust him).

It's the only way things are gonna change around here it seems. No butts in the seats. But then again there were no butts in the seats last year so I don't know if that's gonna be enough. Art gonna do what he's gonna do.

Hell look at Darnold He is showing some promise now that he is out of that dumpster fire of the Jet's! You could have put mahomes on the Jet's or some of the perennial terrible teams and he would have sucked. When the team and whole culture is rotten nobody will succeed.

I know its hard to see them in the cellar. How about they just roll with what they have. Ben is done but he will be the starter until an injury happens. I can't see Tomlin benching him. Might get a hook in a game but will start the following week.

The last decade has been faux. Winning seasons with little playoff success. Some would want that. I don't. Better draft position at this point.

A franchise QB in the draft of 2022 in the first is what this team needs not some vet that is close to what we have now in Ben. Getting younger is key.

Ryan is garbage and has no heart. The ATL fans want him gone, so I guess he sees the writing on the wall. They should have drafted Justin Fields when they had a chance.

There will be no blow back. We will all ***** and moan, and convince ourselves that next season will be better. We will keep going to games, and buying jerseys. We are all a black and gold flock of sheep.

The only way the Steelers move on from Ben is if he retires. The only way the Steelers move on from Tomlin is if he resigns. Art doesn't care what we think.

If Ben’s play doesn’t improve dramatically there is no way Rooney can justify bringing him back again. I expect they will part ways amicably after the (losing) season.

Ben is a lot of things but he is not stupid, he will know his body is failing him. I wonder if he is secretly wishing he had hung em up, this can’t be much fun for him.

Don't know what you're talking about but ATL is a very desirable location. Where do you hail from?

With this online you almost have to have a young mobile guy. And old statue like Ryan would get murdered as well.

No to Ryan. Either draft a QB in 2022 draft or bring in a younger, experienced free agent QB as a stop gap. Or both.
