I'm sure he was cheated by the Steelers and that's why he was let go.

Also late. You can't throw late to the sidelines....usually.

I stopped watching when Berman changed the color of his rug and they dropped Aussie Rules Football.

They’ve done a great job of blurring the lines between covering sports and mixing in their brand of woke politics. They need to get back to covering sports, PERIOD!

I have to admit that I now watch more YouTube podcasts than ESPN. Or is it Podcasts on YouTube?

I even watch PTI on Youtube now days. When is the last time Tony left his basement?

Any politics, and I change the channel. I don't watch sports for it, or a sports channel for it....if I want political coverage there are many other channels for that.

Same. I don't watch BSPN unless the Steelers are on.

I watch YouTube for Steelers news, podcasts, etc.

    Plus Hasselbeck sucks

I'm surprised Suzy Kolber got let go she has been on there for decades. Maybe Joe Namath can give her a goodbye kiss on her last day.

I remember that night. I believe Joe was a bit too far into the drinks that night.

Man, they haven’t covered Aussie Rules in a very long time. Love Aussie Rules, it’s a great game. Just spent a month in Aus, saw a Freo Dockers game. Carlton and Port Adelaide are leading the league, the West Coast Eagles are terrible.

I enjoyed Aussie rules football. I'll put my aluminum foil hat on and say it was too entertaining and NFL had ESPN pull the plug on it and replaced it with Cornhole tournaments :smiley1:

I don’t think a conspiracy theory is at play. The AFL would love any money from US broadcasts, Australia has 10% of the US population and half of Aus loves Rugby and not Aussie rules. ESPN could get access to AFL for a song. But it’s hard to sell non-live sports. It’s even harder to sell a game Americans dont understand, that happens in the middle of the night. A 1PM start in Melbourne is 3AM in the US East Coast. Even a night game, doesn’t serve a US audience. Fox Sports carried AFL for a while, but they did it live with middle of night broadcasts.

So I dont think NFL owners or even WNBA owners cower if fear of the AFLs entertainment value. It’s just a weird game, at a weird time. Hell, you could cover Irish Football, a similar game, in real time. And that League would truly kiss-your-ass for coverage.
