They weren’t successful with Ray-Ray but were with Claypool, even scored a TD off of one.

He fumbled though which gets you in Tomlins dog house and plus had to save him from the rookie wall

    Looked up the game logs,
Claypool was 16 yds on 10 carries this yr. He has a 2yd and 3yd TD. His longest was run was 8 yds. So the 3yds for 7 on the rest.
Ray Ray was 65 yds on 4 carries. Just about all of is was a 58 yd run vs Philly. 7yds for 3 on the rest.
DJ was 15 yds on 3 carries.

So take out Ray Rays big play, I wouldn’t say they were wildly successful with anybody.

2 TD’s on 10 carries is pretty good and when you add them all together, except for 1 fumble, all saw positive yardage between the 3 of them.

Guess it depends one what your definition of successful is. 96 yards on 15 carries with 2 TD’s for 5.6 yards per carry is pretty good in my book.

How do you feel about the post Game 4 (after Phi) stat line? : 10 carries, 10 yds 1 TD. A veritable Benny Snell

Sounds like the Seinfeld episode where Kramer's Boss couldn't fire hime because he really didn't work there.

Your'e now the Offensive Coordinator because you're here and we heard you had the job.

Wo cares, we’re talking about jet sweeps. Let’s stay on apples to apples. I know you are trying very hard to make it seem like they weren’t effective, even to the point of taking away the good plays to make your case but us fans didn’t imagine it. They worked.

Let me see if I understand how this works. Duck and Mason play a lot out of necessity because Ben gets hurt early last year (2019). Duck and Mason do ok for what they are but its determined that what the staff needs is a QB coach (which is genius since most teams have a position coach for about every other one but we didn't for the most important position of all). So this year, Ben is back, but they hire a QB coach that may not have been hired if Ben didn't get hurt last year. Now, within a years time, the QB coach is our OC because the team kept RF even though he was a horrible OC but they don't "fire" coaches until their contract is up regardless of the damage being done in the meantime. So, what would have happened if Ben didn't get hurt last year? Would we have hire a QB coach and would we have a new OC for next year? Who do we have to thank for our new OC, Duck/Mason or Ben?

Of course they worked and the real problem was multiple more plays to run off of the Jet looks....1 is the Jet pass where you fake the Jet and then throw it back to the Jet...Another is the Jet Reverse ...The Jet Reverse pass can be thrown playside or as a throwback...These are just a few , but that's what the Jet game is all about to stretch the field horizontally so why not use playcalls that can attack both ways off the same play ? I tell you why because our OC was horrid , the Jet game should have been expanded and used more often no doubt about it..

I only wish an arm is Ben's problem. He can throw, if standing still in the pocket straight down field. Just don't ask him to do ANYTHING else. He cant run , get under centre, pick up a bad snap, move left, move right, or anything else. The game is fast and mobile 11 on 11 not 11 on defense and 10 on offense because your QB is old and a statue. Time to walk off the field Ben. Do the right thing for the organization and fans that have provided you with a great career.
