I'm saying it was comical to even suggest a screen. Also, the way the Browns were blowing up screens, they forced incompletions on at least two of them, so it makes no sense to suggest one.

The first-down play was a short, safe throw. It was the right call. Johnson ****ed it up.

 

Like I said I'm just going by what I read , and heard.
Either way He's gone, and I hope it's a boon.

 

Our screen game was terrible Sunday. Only one that I can remember worked, and that was because of Warren making something out of nothing. The rest were horrible.

 

Draw play then if you want to be technical about it. Normally a screen pass is at least completed even if it’s dropped for no gain.

 

Maybe we should have a poll about who or what actually got Canada fired.

1. All Tomlin.
2. Kenny told Tomlin something that got Canada fired.
3. Upper management gave Tomlin the ok to fire Canada.

I think #3. Upper management probably said something like "If you think he needs to be replaced, then we have no objection." Same as saying you should fire him.

I think #2 is second likely. Tomlin asks Kenny if he has full confidence in Canada and he answers no.

Tomlin could still claim it was his decision, but the main driver might be different things.

I'm watching McAfee's rebroadcast as I type this, and his source for saying ARII fired Canada was none other than Gerry Dulac. I wouldn't trust Dulac on this. If it was someone like Ed Bouchette, then I'd believe it.

Pat just showed a screenshot where Dulac said Sullivan will be the new offensive coordinator. We know that isn't true. Sullivan will call the game day plays. Falkner is the coordinator. Seems GD just makes stuff up as he goes. Then, Pat confirms via HCMT press conference what we now know to be true.

 

Other than tossing softballs at Aaron Rodgers, I'm not sure how much reporting McAfee does.

I agree. Every reporter is going to get something wrong here and there, but I trusted Bouchette a hell of a lot more than I trust Dulac.

 

I assume the emoji means you are kidding and you know Pickett had to throw a couple of them away because the Browns were all over them.

I actually meant the sequencing of plays not situational, that was something Canada struggled with.

 

Well whoever disagreed with me... this is EXACTLY what we are doing. Not a big surprise.

 

I listened to the presser live and that's what he said, it doesn't really matter to me who did it, it had to be done.

How do you know what the truth is or where we are?

 

I don't know why some fans just assume Tomlin is lying, if it wasn't his decision, he could've just said it was an organizational decision.
